I have been taking online trumpet lessons with Vinnie for years now. I have also studied in person with Vinnie, and played in Vinnie's band. I feel so lucky to be able to take lessons from one of the best trumpet players in the world. Vinnie has helped me progress in many areas including jazz improvisation. Vinnie has a warm personality and is very patient. In my 50 years of playing trumpet, Vinnie is by far the best teacher I have ever had. Vinnie plays so well, and performs in so many places all over the world, I can't even begin to describe his personal talent. However, on a personal level, he is easy to relate to and study with. I have known Vinnie for 35 years in the world of music. He is a colleague that I hold in the highest regard. I have had the great pleasure of performing alongside him in a number of different situations. As a sideman we have performed music on an extremely high level, everything from Jazz Standards, originals, to Weather Report etc. Vinnie's abilities as trumpeter and educator are tremendous, world class all across the board. He is great reader and his improvisation is of the highest order, creative, inventive, with thematic development and harmonic depth in the single line.

I have known, performed with, and taught with Vincent for over thirty years. I am a professional trombonist and the Performing Arts Chair at Saddle River Day School. I ran an Arts-In-Education band that performed big band jazz at schools in the NYC area for over twelve years, and Vincent was a band member. Vincent is one of the world's greatest trumpet players and jazz improvisers, and he is an excellent communicator. I have watched Vincent teach countless times, and he loves working with young people and passing along his craft and experience. He has a very warm personality and a great sense of humor. I perform regularly with Vincent in a variety of world-class ensembles, and just standing next to him on the band-stand is like taking a lesson!

Mr Yakov is very pleasant, patient and professional. He makes learning fun. One of my daughters is very shy and particular. I was concerned for her first violin. But she ended up loving the lesson and the instructor. We did some lessons online and at his studio. During the online lesson, the connection with our internet was horrible. He could hear her playing but she couldn't hear him. Yet, patiently, he got creative and taught the lesson with my daughter through chat. The environment of the studio is comfortable. You can tell he's passionate about what he does. That left me with a great impression of him. We look forward to more lessons with him for as long as we can.

Thomas is honestly an amazing musician and teacher. He was really patient with me. Despite having to deal with major timezone differences (as I live in Myanmar), he took the time to figure it out. Also, he helped me figure out the stuff it took me months to figure out. He also really knows what he's doing. I learned so much in that hour of practice. 10/10 would recommend him.

Justin is one of the most helpful trumpet teachers I have ever had. He adjusts the level of lessons in order to make them both challenging and enjoyable. He makes sure that I have a solid foundation and continue to practice scales and basic techniques. He also demonstrates how I should play certain pieces and what they should sound like, rather than simply telling me, which I find very helpful when learning.
