Our 8 year old son had his first Guitar lesson with Dee this past weekend, and she was amazing. She wasted no time getting down to brass tacks with our son, showing him the various parts of the guitar, how to hold it and within minutes he knew two chords. She was able to keep our kiddo engaged, offered great praise and positive feedback/reinforcement and kept him on task for the entire 45 minute lesson. We could not be happier and cannot wait to see what he learns during his next lessons with her!

I often draw upon my experience from my master's degree in music therapy, which taught me that music can have a profound effect on the human brain and upon cognitive development. Are you or your child interested in learning how to play piano? I am a former child prodigy and an experienced soloist / teacher whose talent was fostered by the highest of Russian Classical Pianist Pedigrees from a very young age. I have a lot to share. Learning the piano, isn't just about learning notes and playing them; it's about creating music, and conveying a story! I know how to teach that! And for all the moms out there- that means NOT having to listen to endless harsh ping-pang bland robotic piano practice. My goal is to create music from day 1. I have been teaching on and off since I was 18 in 1991. I formerly taught at a Yamaha School, and taught in my home on my beautiful Yamaha C7, but now being new to Texas, I will travel to you. My rates are very competitive, and I will give you a strong foundation, instill the art of
musicianship and teach you skills you can apply on your own and at your own pace. Learning an instrument should be fun and stress-free to foster a love of creating music. I enjoy teaching most, when you and/or your child are challenged in a fun and relaxed atmosphere! Please contact me if you have any questions. I am new to the San Antonio area, and am only looking to take on 5 students at the moment so I can who sure to bring my best for you. 🎶
I highly recommend Roni if you are interested in learning to play the piano or improving your existing piano skills.
As a retiree I found it difficult to find a teacher that would take on an older / beginning student and offer in home lessons. Her schedule is flexible and she is very accommodating of my obligations. I am extremely fortunate to have found Roni. She is an incredible pianist (she can provide links to some of her performances) who makes learning fun. I actually look forward to my lessons. She takes the time to learn about your musical interest and goals and then tailors your lessons to provide you with a positive, motivating and enjoyable experience.

Roni B is a treasure! So wonderful! We are so blessed to have found her.
There were several options in the valley, and you can never know if there will be that 'connection' with a new teacher.
Roni is patient and she got me! Knew exactly what I needed to learn.
I have had other teachers, and RONI B IS THE BEST!!!
Im giving her card to ALL my friends, even if they don't play piano!
Thank you Roni. Now don't get too busy so you can't work with you number one student lol!
Piano lessons are a joy to teach! Let me inspire you. Within the first few lessons, you'll know terminology and piano basics such as rhythm and body placement, and as time goes on you'll be able to play classics, standards and more. I typically use method books combined with traditional repertoire.

My name is Doniell and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2002 and have loved helping my students appreciate, understand, and be inspired by music. I went to Washington State University, and the University of Maryland, and earned a degree in Humanities in 2011. I am a member of MTNA, and teach lessons to students from my local area in my home and online to students around the world. I'm a helpful and compassionate person and my teaching style is informative, determined by the student's needs and goals, and a combination of traditional and contemporary. I have played piano over 30 years, and compose my own music during spare time. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
I am about retired and decided to take piano lesson as a hobby last year. I knew nothing about playing piano and music theory. I was lucky to find Doniell as my piano teacher. She is very patient with me for not knowing anything and explains everything I need to know for that day’s lesson. She is also very flexible to work with me with my work and trip schedules. I have been with her for one year and take half hour lesson each week except when I was out of town, now I am able to play many songs and very happy with my good progress. I definitely recommended her to anyone who is interested in learning piano lessons. You will get satisfactions.

Our daughter is taking lessons with Doniell and after every lesson is thrilled to share her experiences. Doniell has been exceedingly accomodating of our schedule, making it absolutely pleasant to work with her. We are a homeschool family and she offered time outside of evening hours. We had several illnesses and issues with travel during the snow this past winter and she has always been understanding and patient with rescheduling. Our daughter is very enthusiastic about piano and many things in life, we are thankful we have Doniell to guide her as she continues to develop a passion for music.

My daughter is enjoying her beginner-level lessons with Miss Naomi very much. Miss Naomi is encouraging her to learn and play and develop her technique in class and at home during practice sessions. I was very pleased with my daughter's progress during our initial 5 lessons. We're planning to continue lessons with enthusiasm and appreciation for Miss Naomi's teaching skills and professionalism.

Naomi is great with kids. My daughter always had fun during the lessons. And, that is the most important thing for a 4-year-old. Naomi is goal-oriented, and she made sure that there is continuity between the lessons. Good teacher.

Naomi was excellent.
Can you imagine being able to play the piano, even complex and virtuosic music, with ease and effortless musicality? Believe it or not, it is possible!
Playing the piano with good technique and understanding can produce the most amazing music without straining, pain, difficulty or struggling while playing; and yes, you can do it too! This is what I teach my students so they are able to enjoy their playing and not feel like they're not making progress or that they're just going through the motions. There is a way to play the piano that makes it efficient and enjoyable, and I incorporate these ideas directly into the pieces the student wants to work on. I work with classical and contemporary piano music as well as theory, composition and piano technique, all of which help make piano playing as excellent as it can be! Check out my videos (below) and YT channel to see effortless playing at work!
I will work with the student on how to practice the concepts needed for each piece and ...
Teaching is what I do! I have TAed multiple classes and taught dozens of students. I teach piano and other music concepts, as well as STEM fields in school. I only teach concepts that I'm completely fluent in, however, so you always get the absolute best instruction possible!
I have been playing piano for over 12 years. I retrained from scratch in the Taubman Technique a few years ago and play with ease and effortless musicality! I have taught tons of students how to play the instrument, incorporating these concepts into their playing as well.
I also tutor in STEM topics, including all math, physics, chemistry, and others. I have tutored over 2 dozen students and helped many achieve great results. I have a Master's degree in applied physics, graduated Magna cum Laude, and am fully prepared to help you master your math/science class
Schedule a lesson with me! See yourself improve from someone who knows how people think and understands the topics enough to impart the same onto you!
I want to inspire my students of all ages to reach their potential as musicians. I work with my students on sheet reading, key and time signatures, developing an understanding of harmonic and tonal concepts, and proper technique. My lessons are tailored to the student’s interests, goals and skill level.
I started my classical music training at four years old and continued formal lessons until high school. I grew up in a very musical household as my father is also a professional musician.
Through my formal training and my further study, I have built up a substantial knowledge of music theory. At 11, I began playing percussion instruments and played in my school band through college (Shanghai Jiaotong University). At 13, I earned my level 10 piano performance certificate, which is the highest level in China.
During my time at University, I toured with the band throughout Eastern Asia and Europe. I also performed for Hillary Clinton’s visit to Shanghai and have performed musical solos multiple times at the Shanghai Grand Theater.
In my spare time, I enjoy listening to and playing popular music and classical pieces, particularly
those by Bach and Chopin. For more information, please do not hesitate to ask.
Lilan is an excellent piano instructor with her professional skills and years of playing experience. She provided me with practical guidance on my playing skills as well as the emotion in the performance with her on-stage performance experience. She is also a responsible instructor. She will play the chapter by herself to let me better understand the performance. Thanks to her professional instructions and patience, my playing skills have been improved a lot. I will recommend Lilan to everyone who would like to expect an improvement on their playing skills as well as receiving great instruction experience.

"I started taking lessons with Dr.Lee since June. Superb teaching, perfect for my skill level and ambition. Dr.Lee rapidly diagnosed the problems I need t
o solve and has helped me attack them. She doesn't waste a second in her teaching. I am inspired to practice and improve."
"Very nice, respectful, good with kids"
"Joshua is a great teacher!"
"Laurel taught my kids piano lessons for several years. When she moved away, she proved impossible to replace! She really cared about the kids' learning. F
or example, when my son seemed to connect better with the process and logic behind the music, she got him started composing his own! Both kids benefited greatly from Laurel's teaching and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a piano teacher."
"Kids loved their first lesson with Melanie!!! Looking forward to many more lessons!!!"
"I am an adult who learned piano for 2 years when I was little before quitting. I wanted to regain my skills and Janet has been helping me do that. She’s f
antastic, kind, flexible and encouraging! She reminded me to enjoy the music while at the same time challenging me to improve my skills to the next level I couldn’t be more excited !!"
"She is nice! I like her teaching style and personality. Recommend!"
"Having a strong musical background (20+ years), I was stoked when my boyfriend told me he wanted to improve his piano playing. Let me rephrase that--LEARN
how to play piano. He had bought a piano three years earlier and never played it.
He had NO natural musically ability, barely being able to hold a beat let alone understand time and key.
He started lessons in Berkeley for three months and didn't seem to improve, then we found Fawn and signed up for lessons, even though I was skeptical about it being online. Within a month of playing, he was understanding the foundation of music, improv, ect., and Fawn REALLY pushed him. 15 months later he has a solid playing and reading ability, even though his work only allows him 1-2 hours a week of practice. Fawn is teaching both the fundamentals plus improve, scales, etc. that really push him to be a better piano player. She encourages him to chose pieces he loves as well. Soon they will start songwriting. I am thoroughly impressed."
"Christina has been working with my 6-year-old, who is a beginner. She has been great, and my son is always happy to see her and is enjoying learning."
