We have had the pleasure of having Summer as a piano teacher for two kids and a parent. She is an outstanding teacher! Summer knows how to judiciously adapt to the different traits of the students (young or old), and to bring out the immense joy of learning to play an instrument.

Summer is such a great teacher! I’d taken piano lessons as a kid and wanted to return to it as an adult and I’m so glad I did! She really tailors the lessons to focus on the type of songs I’m interested in playing but also puts a real emphasis on learning the basics of theory to build off of for future songs. Highly recommend!!

In over 30 years experience my students have enjoyed exploring music in a unique and fun way. I teach traditional European style and my goal is to have the students not just learn to read music and understand theory and composition but the art of interpretation. I have prepared students for state evaluations from the beginning levels to the most advanced, for the ABRSM exams, competitions, auditions to many events including famous institutions like The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music and many others, also working with music major students in colleges and universities who need to improve in their piano skills. I also teach interests like music theory, accomplishment, church music, improvisation, Voice and Chamber music. I have taught children from 4 years old to adults in their 70s and beyond.

About Clementa
I am a fun, very experienced pianist, teacher, coach and artist.
In my early age I won many competitions and performed in solo recitals and with symphony orchestras, also as a chamber musician, therefore I understand what it takes to not just learn music but what it takes to be a great performer and interpreter of music.
My beginner students enjoy a fun way of learning to read notes and interpret even the simplest songs and pieces. I introduce my students to technique by teaching scales in many forms , exercises and etudes. I also teach them theory and give them written homework to practice their knowledge while away from the lessons. They are rewarded with surprise gifts after earning a certain amount of A grades. Students of school age are prepared for state evaluations and festivals and participate in studio recitals. I also work wit
h students on their sight reading skills, theory, harmony and basic composition which tremendously help their understanding of the pieces they learn and how to aproach memorization and ultimately the interpretation and composer’s musical intent.
Students also enjoy performing chamber music with their fellow musician friends and enjoy fun parties after recitals.
Adult students come to my classes for many reasons the main ones being: wanting to learn about music or to perfect their skills. Many students are also interested in preparing for auditions to music institutions or exams in the music field they are already majoring in. Other areas of interest my students have include church music, hymn improvisation and sacred music performance.
My studies began when I was 6 years old in my city of birth Brasov, Romania and ended with my Bachelor and Masters degrees at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. I performed all over the world as soloist and chamber musician together with my two brothers who are also professional musicians, violinist and cellist.
Students will be given a studio informational package upon registering with my studio which includes my resume, studio fees, studio activities and general studio activities information.
My students find me to be very funny but at the same time professional and very serious in my expectations of their weekly preparation for lessons.

If you are looking for professional music lessons for learning to play the piano, I am a perfect match for you.
I am a professional pianist with substantial experience in teaching piano for students of different ages. I hold a Mater of Music in Piano Performance from Kharkiv National University of Arts, Ukraine, and a Master of Music degree from Anton Rubinstein International Music Academy, Germany in cooperation with " Giacomo Puccini's" State Music Conservatory, Italy.
While in Germany, I was performing as a solo pianist, playing chamber music and teaching at a private music academy.
As an experienced piano teacher I would say that no matter what kind/style of music you prefer to play, it is always better to have a classical background. It does not mean that you only need to focus on the classics, but learning and working on things like your technique, understanding harmony and music theory will help you in the future no matter what you decide to do: teaching, performing, ...

About Alena
As an experienced musician and piano teacher, I offer piano lessons for everyone who is willing to learn how to play the instrument and is passionate about it.
For some of us playing the piano could be a serious, life changing way of making a career as a famous musician and bringing your dream and passion to the next level.
For some of us it could be a nice hobby, where you can express your feeling and emotions by performing or composing music.
It's for you to decide but no matter what you are doing in your life, you should be passionate about it!

Being a music instructor for over 10 years and having experience teaching in Ukraine, Germany and USA, I try to combine different methods and find individual style of teaching for everyone, who is willing to learn (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).

I offer individual lesson plans a
nd music material depending on your music taste and personal needs. You don't need to worry about anything, just enjoy what you're doing and I will take care of the rest!

I have been playing piano myself for over 20 years and I would like to share my knowledge with others and have them fall in love with music as I did.

I wish to build a solid foundation of students of all ages who are eager to play piano and to hope to inspire young musicians and help expand current musicians' abilities. I intend to instill the students with sheet reading skills, knowledge of key and time signatures, the understanding of harmonic and tonal concepts, as well as a proper technique. Lessons will be tailored to the individual depending on the students' interests and goals as well as the amount the time the individual is intending to devote.

About Lilan
I come from a musical background with my father being a professional musician. I have been a classically trained pianist since the age of 4 and continued formal piano training up until high school.

With classical piano training at young age, I've built up a solid musical background, with a profound knowledge of music theory. I earned my level 10 piano performance certificate, which is the highest level, at age 13. I am fluent with a variety of classical pieces, including ones from Bach and Chopin.

When I was 11, I was able to quickly pick up percussion. I've been in the school band beginning in middle school and continuing through high school (Shanghai No. 3 Girls' High School) and college (Shanghai Jiaotong University).

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to and playing modern popular music as well. I frequently go to a variet
y of entertainment shows including concerts with my friends. For more information, please do not hesitate to ask.

Playing the piano is super fun, and the learning process can be enjoyable and painless. I have years of experience teaching the piano to kids of all ages, primarily elementary and middle schoolers. I like to make each lesson plan unique to the student's needs, and you can pick what pieces you want to learn! Since I went through the private lesson process myself, I am well versed in the techniques teachers employ and can teach all levels of proficiency. I have accumulated an extensive repertoire, won numerous competitions, and played at Carnegie Hall. I can help you build a solid foundation in technique, music theory, and sight-reading so that you can play all your favorite songs!

About Angela
I am an enthusiastic college student that is hoping to share my love and passion for music! I have played the piano (and the flute) for fourteen years, and have given private lessons to kids in my neighborhood for the past few years. I am excited to work with people of all ages who are eager to learn more about music, regardless of your level of proficiency. I can help a beginner learn their way around a keyboard and music theory, or help a more advanced student develop their technique. I am classically trained, which really is useful in developing a solid foundation. I am willing to travel to your location and make the music creating process as fun and easy as possible! Mr. Lesley has taught my daughter piano for the past 6 years. In that time she has developed enough skill to be able to sight read and play just about any piece you put in front her. Mr. Lesley now helps her with her confidence and more complicated pieces. He has developed a relationship with my daughter to be able to understand what she is thinking by hearing what she is playing. She can be quiet and shy, but Mr. Lesley always takes a caring approach with her to bring out her personality and talent. He considers her likes and interests when selecting classical and popular pieces. Throughout the years he has coached my daughter in singing as well. Mr. Lesley is very flexible with scheduling if there is a conflict which is helpful to a mom of 3 kids. Pricing is also reasonable. We definitely feel very lucky to have taken lessons from Mr. Lesley for so long!

Rob Lesley (Mr. Lesley) is an experienced music teacher with a passion for music and teaching it to students. He is able to take traditional music/teaching styles and give them a modern twist to encourage and excite his students. Rob is always very patient and greatly flexible when it comes to making compromises (with lesson times, student's learning speeds, etc.) He's very understanding and provides constructive criticism in a kind way to help to improve greatly.
I, Chloe, a 12 year old girl who plays guitar, have been taking lessons with Mr. Lesley for 6 years. He always encourages me to do my best and because of all of the kindness and humor he always shows, I would never consider any other instructor. My brother, Brady, who is learning percussion from
Mr. Lesley, feels the same way and always enjoys himself during our weekly lessons.
In conclusion, Rob (Mr. Lesley) is an outstanding and irriplacible music instructor who is greatly recommended by my family.

Hello,
my name is Anna and I am a piano/ vocal/ music theory teacher. I graduated from the Rimsky Korsakov College of Music, Saint Petersburg and now I continue to educate people in the music field in California. I have big experience in working with children and adults, combing Piano and Vocal technique to develop general musicality.
Although I have a solid theoretical and performance background, my lessons are not " your childhood boring nightmare". I want my students to feel the music not as "the most difficult and useless thing I've ever learnt" but as useful, beautiful and fun life skill!
All ages and levels are welcome!

About Anna
Hello!
I am a singer and vocal teacher (graduated from Rimsky Korsakov college of Music), I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and began my musical studies at the age of 5. From 2007 to 2012 sang in Mariinsky and Mikhaloivsky Theatre Choirs in the productions of Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, Bizet’s Carmen, Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades, Puccini’s «La boheme».
In 2012 I continued my studies at the Rimsky Korsakov College of Music, Saint Petersburg in the class of professor Tatiana Cherkasova, a holder of the title Honored Artist of Russia. During this time she received several prizes including Diploma of International Vocal Competition «New Opera World» ,Moscow 2015; Laureate of International Vocal Competition «CRESCENDO INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION» USA, New York In 2014 I performed in Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Hall as a so
loist with Saint-Petersburg Folk orchestra
I prefer to start with 5-6 y.o. because children at this age they are able to do some homework ( I think that a kid's personal desire to practice is a key to success)

I have worked with children in several fields: children voice (the technique is not the same as adult technique); piano; and combining piano and voice technique (sing and play); also, ( if children/parents want) we touched on music theory, which can be very fun, especially for young beginners.
