I give you instructions on site-singing, vocal techniques for Broadway, Classical, Opera, Pop, Gospel and many other styles of Vocal Music. I also work on stage presence and acting.

I have had the joy of coaching many students throughout the years. I love helping others grow their singing skills and increase their confidence and creativity! Many of my students have gone onto pursue music careers and/or being selected for singing roles in productions. I teach all genres of music and my goal is to make you shine!

I am a creative and innovative instructor who loves helping each student find their voice and pursue their unique interests musically.  I completed my Masters in Music at Northwestern University in 2015, where I sought to create and present exciting multimedia recitals that combined classical music with other art forms. I believe one of the most important things we can do as musicians is connect music to our larger experiences, and, in my lessons, I help students form a strong technical and theoretical foundation as well as connect to the deeper meanings and connections of songs. For the past 3 years, I have taught voice and piano lessons with Flatts and Sharpe Music Company in Chicago and have extensive experience teaching online lessons.

If you like to work on musical theater selections, you know there are different genres and styles. There is more to belting than just the high notes and I like to encourage a strong well-placed head voice as well as learning contrasting styles, ballads and upbeat dance numbers.

Hi, my name is Benedetta and I am an Italian Opera Singer now based in USA. I always loved music from an early age and I began performing at the age of 14 and continued my education at the Conservatory of Music and Philharmonic Academy in my country. I have a bachelor degree and a master in voice. From the age of 14 till 18 I performed in Broadway shows and then I approached the operatic world. Now I'm a professional opera singer, working all over the world and teaching at the same. In my lessons, you can expect to learn breathing technique, to develop your voice range, to focus on expression and interpretation. I can teach pop music, broadway as opera. A little about me...
I’ve worked with students ages 3-75 years old for over 15 years. A 2011 CSULB graduate, I earned my Bachelors in Music Education with piano proficiency and choral/vocal emphasis. I studied opera and jazz vocal technique there as well. I have taught 8+ years of music classes at public schools and am currently teaching as a Music Facilitator through Orange Unified School District.
As an active musician, I gig and record regularly with top 40 cover bands as well as my original soul/funk band and really enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and love for music with my students!
