Classical Piano Lessons in Lawrenceburg. Amazing Teachers.

Students will use the Faber piano method to improve sight reading and technical ability to begin their journey as a piano player. Students will leave lessons with Sam Fronk as a confident, talented pianist comfortable in all styles of music

I grew up learning the fundamentals of classical piano, but went to flourish as a jazz, pop, and musical theatre composer and arranger, so my relationship with the piano runs deep! In lessons with me, no matter what your goals are, I know how to get you to the level of proficiency you want to achieve quickly. Whether you are looking to play songs on the radio or Spotify, or you want to play that Mozart sonata, I can show you how to do both in no time! Can't wait to get started with you!

I work with students of varying ages. I will collaborate with you to begin an enjoyable hobby or prepare for college repertory. From music theory, to reading leadsheets, and composing basic tunes.

If we can schedule to meet in Wicker Park, we will have access to an 8 1/2 foot concert grand.

I normally suggest children 14 and under (depending on how comfortable they are) do 30 minute lessons.

Adults and those 16+, I strongly suggest, do an hour lesson (to get the most out of the pedagogy)

We will be working through Alfred's Piano books if a beginner. We will also work on songs of choice.

Learning music should be fun and engaging! My style of teaching helps my students learn the songs they want to learn once they have understood a certain level of music theory. Students are motivated to learn through instruction that they can understand, so I work with both children and adults to find their preferred learning style. So when students enjoy learning, practicing comes naturally and the music becomes a fulfilling experience for both the teacher and the student!
