Piano class is an exciting and informative introduction to piano and music skills for beginning to intermediate level music students in grades Kindergarten through Adult. The goal of the course is not only to develop a solid musical foundation in piano which will greatly assist in the future pursuit of any musical instrument in any style, but most importantly to instill in the student an understanding of how music is put together and thereby yield a sense of appreciation and mastery, even of little accomplishments, which build upon one another to greater accomplishments.

Students are taught a stimulating, thorough, and graduated course of recital solos, theory, technical studies, and classic piano repertoire. Class size varies from 2 to 3 students (with the possibility of expansion) with group activities as well as one-on-one instruction. Currently pursuing my second masters degree in opera coaching at UT Austin. Received my first masters degree at the Peabody Conservatory, majoring in Vocal Accompanying with a Bachelor's of Music in classical Piano Performance. Experienced teacher of 10 years, specializing in beginner/intermediate level. All ages are welcome! I will specialize each lesson to each student's needs and will build a strong foundation of note reading, theory and sight-reading!
