The focus of my piano teaching is the classical style, but the fundamentals we learn as classical pianists are necessary for any type of music! Whether you're just starting out, looking to brush up on your skills, or learning more advanced repertoire, I am happy to adjust lessons to YOUR goals! We can also incorporate music theory and history to broaden your musical understanding.
I am a professional musician residing in New Orleans. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in music and have been studying and playing the piano since the age of 8! I currently teach and provide piano accompaniment with the music department at Tulane University.
Please contact me to discuss method books, repertoire, etc. I am happy to teach online, in person at Tulane University, or at your location. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about lessons, scheduling or anything else!
About Phillip
I believe that the study of music is one of the most rewarding pursuits we can undertake! Whether a total beginner, college student or adult looking to brush up on skills or learn new ones, I will help you reach your goals! As a lecturer with the Tulane University Department of Music in New Orlea
