My name is Jerry. I LOVE music and passing my knowledge on to others. I have played many different instruments in many different kinds of bands. It all one major thing in common, it was FUN! If you are not having fun while learning an instrument you won't want to learn. Lessons can be fun AND educational at the same time. I have had many parents tell me I'm one of the best teachers they have ever seen. (A couple of them were public school teachers themselves). I truly want my students to succeed and I will do everything in my power to help them accomplish that!

I teach Classical Double Bass from beginner to intermediate level. I can teach the student from the most fundamental skills to hard solo pieces depends on the level of student. I also feel the music history and theory is also important therefor some elements will include in the lesson.

I am graduating from Manhattan School of Music this year with Double Bass performance degree. I have played with NYYS, and performed in Carnegie Hall for 4 consecutive years. Recently served as guest principle for New York Symphonic Arts Ensemble, and International Chamber Orchestra of America.

My name is Joseph and I’ve been teaching professionally for 30 + years. Additionally, I’ve toured internationally with many artists and have several solo CDs as a leader. I currently play bass with Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas Nevada USA and I know what is required to be a professional musician. I have a customized teaching method for beginners through advanced players, however, I will also adopt things that you want to learn as well. I treat every student and lessons on an individual basis and I don’t have a cookie-cutter method of teaching. Lessons we will cover will be proper technique, solid foundation, rhythmic and groove training, learning notes/scales, learning songs, music theory, reading music, composition, ear training, recording techniques and much more. All ages and playing levels welcome! I look forward to working with you.

I have 20 years experience performing and teaching bass in a variety of styles. I have my undergraduate degree in classical bass performance, and am also a freelance bass player in Austin, TX.

I try to cater lessons to the individual student. Lessons will be relaxed, and I always try to find an approach and style that works well for you.

Lessons will be catered to the individual students needs and musical aspirations. As a versatile, free-lance bass player, I'm specialized in a wide variety of musical styles and am able to guide students towards any goal they may have. For all styles, I will be incorporating lessons I learned while studying with a master musician in India.

Jazz lessons will focus on technique, ear training, transcribing, music theory, rhythmic strengthening, and understanding the responsibilities of the bass player.
