Gregory Valens Luv is a phenomenal vocal coach. He's very detailed in teaching you structure of the body to relax you and open you up for singing. I love his technique. I find myself very relaxed and limber which brings out the best in me. He's very creative and shares various types of vocalizations to help you with every style of music. He's also got a sweet spirit and that makes it very enjoyable to come to class.

My greatest joy is helping others find genuine fulfillment and self expression through music.
My teaching style is attuned, fun, encouraging and tailored entirely to meet each student's specific need. I’m enthusiastic, caring and a dedicated person.
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or experienced.
Even great singers develop bad habits over time.
Learn how to break those bad habits and become a better singer and performer
I always do a vocal assessment to see which parts of your voice are naturally working well and which parts we need to focus on to get you balanced.
We always work on songs that you choose so that you love what you are singing. In the very 1st hour I will get you singing new sounds and bring a new understanding to what you are doing.

About Juliana
My name is Juliana, I m an international singer and musical theatre actress, Hollywood Music and Media Awards winner. For decades I performed in stage productions, as well as TV and International Gala such as "Millennium Promise" (producer Quincy Jones), NBC productions, big Symphony orchestras in Europe, and I had a privilege to collaborate with renown musicians from USA and Latin America.
I've been teaching private lessons since 2011 helping my students open up their talent in full potential, growing voice awareness, self-esteem and emotional response through voice, as well as stage performance mastery.

By enjoying vocal performance field, I learned vocal art as a science and a combination of physical, psychological, and creative ability of the artist. Singing has the power to bring a lot of positive effects to people’s lives thro
ugh opening their personality and engaging their well-being. This is why teaching is not just a profession to me- it’s also a mission to pass all the knowledge and experience I have to young enthusiasts and graduates.
I enjoy good and productive relationships with students of all ages and I have a friendly and supportive manner. I qualified to teach Vocal and to do so in a way that every student feels special, valued, and encouraged.
I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

After just a few lessons with Juliana, my daughter was selected for one of the leading role in a musical theater company play.
Juliana is definitely our favorite teacher of all. Her beautiful personality and amazing talent helped us to understand better way to perform on stage.
I’m also an artistic director of theater- studio “Fan-fan” and Juliana has helped our actors to prepare their musical scenes. She is huge part of our success.

I work with Juliana for over 6 months and noticed such a difference in my singing! She was able to explain all the issues with my voice and helped to change them! She also helped my band with original songs, she gave us ideas about vocals and back vocals. Everything seems so easy with her! Now I feel 100% more confident! I am so happy to find Juliana! She is the best teacher I ever had!

What an absolutely AMAZING experience! Juliana is not only a wonderful instructor, she is a true mentor whom my daughter adores. When we first signed up for lessons, it was to build my daughter's self-esteem, as she has several mandatory performances at school. What started out as a summer adventure has morphed into a regular slot for us on Juliana's calendar:)! My daughter thoroughly enjoys learning from Juliana who makes each session fun by mixing up songs, adding props, incorporating dance moves, etc. This is much more than a voice lesson -- this is a confidence-building journey. My daughter is developing life-long skills which will allow her to be successful "on stage" in life whether she continues singing or engages in public speaking. Thanks for caring about my daughter as an individual, Juliana!!

Hello!

I am a working, professional operatic tenor in the Philadelphia area. I have been teaching for the past 6 years in San Diego, Houston, and Salt Lake City. I have sung with many professional operatic companies including San Diego Opera, Aspen Opera Theatre, The Santa Fe Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, and Opera de Tijuana.

My students receive world-class training as well as a highly personalized approach that ensures their goals are attained. I emphasize a foundation of healthy vocal technique. We then use those principals in whichever genre my student wishes --- music theatre, pop, rock, jazz, gospel, country, or opera. Our sessions are relaxed and fun while also focusing on key concepts and repertoire that the student wants to learn.

Whether singing is a dream job for you or you would just like to learn how to use your voice for fun, I can help you to use your voice healthily so that the only thing you need to do is enjoy the singing experience.

With 20 years of broadway singing and a focus in it throughout her career, Liz loves sharing her vocal training with her students, and this is one of her favorite subjects to teach!

About Liz
After graduating California Institute of the Arts with a multi-focus on several aspects of music including African dance, Indonesian gamelan, songwriting, recording, classical voice and piano, folk guitar, and more, Liz had the excellent opportunity to teach theater to a local musical theater summer youth program. All summer, she taught class sizes ranging from 10 to 26 students of the ages 5-10. Her initiative later led to being hired at this local community theater. Along with this theater teaching experience, she has been teaching piano, guitar, ukulele, flute & voice lessons for over 10 years. Her students have gone from knowing nothing about music to learning and performing entire pieces on their own as well as even auditioning & for agents and becoming signed artists in Los Angeles. Liz knows that it is her place in the world to tea
ch music & spread positivity through her own music and would love nothing more than make learning music a positive and fun experience for everyone.

*** Lesson Details ***
I teach out of the Alfred's Piano course, but am open to trying out any music books you may already have in your home. I do expect my students to purchase the books they would like to learn out of and to have the material I have given them for homework ready, completed, and practiced by the time we have our weekly lesson. I recommend at least twenty to thirty minutes of practice every day, and will give rewards for having practiced well, and for performing well in our lessons. I would love it for my students to be clear on what they would like to learn, and I love using songs that the student enjoys to make his or her music learning process fun.

*** Studio Equipment ***
In my home studio, I have a full size Cable-Nelson upright piano, as well as two ukuleles, and two guitars (one acoustic-electric and one electric).

*** Travel Equipment ***
When I travel, I bring my own instrument that the student is learning on so that I can demonstrate, as well as a music stand if necessary.

*** Specialties ***
Pop, folk, opera, musical theater, classical, rock, reggae

Rachel is professional, approachable, and extremely talented teacher! I definitely recommend her teaching an recording services. I received voice lessons to record for my husband's wedding present. I sang a song called "Still" by Hillsong and accompanied it with my own piano playing. My husband enjoyed the recording very much. Without Reed Vocal Studio, I would not have been able to give the gift of music to my husband. I do not regret having Rachel as my teacher and as my recording engineer. I added my recording on Sound Cloud if anyone is interested in taking a peak at what it is like to record music with Rachel. Let me tell you, she is amazing! Five stars all the way!!

Enjoy :)

As someone who learns best by doing, I encourage my students to experiment while I guide them and help them to understand their instruments in a more organic, personal way than more "Old World" singers. I have a background in opera, musical theatre, and rock/pop vocals for 10+ years, so I can offer a broad perspective on singing that bridges these gaps on a technical level.

About Nick
I'm a tenor from the southwestern Virginia area with a passion for all things music. I've been in music for nearly two decades; I toured with a rock band along the east coast, I sang with Josh Groban, and I've been performing as a choir member and soloist regularly for years. Music is a tremendous source of joy in my life, so I make sure it is the same for my students; studying music can become a chore, but enjoying music never gets old.
