Music has been my passion since starting piano and violin lessons aged 7, and then training for years in performance, composition and theory, culminating in a master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. My main concerns for students are enjoyment, developing musicality and technique, and learning to read music well. I teach music from different periods in history, including music being composed today. I work with children aged 5 and up, and adults. All levels of experience, including beginners, are welcome. I have taught in schools and privately in my home studio, where I have an upright acoustic Schulze Pollmann (German/Italian) piano and a Yamaha keyboard with weighted keys. I have been teaching piano for four years to students of all ages and abilities. I am a classically trained pianist with a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. I've studied music around the world with great teachers, and I'd love to share what I've learned with you!

Vibrant, upbeat teacher with 19 years of teaching experience. I teach all ages and abilities, specializing in early childhood, beginner, intermediate and early advanced. Every lesson includes theory practice with emphasis on note reading, technique, creativity and fun!

Melissa specializes in the Alfred Series for piano and My First Piano Adventure for young students. This approach focuses on ear training and reading music. Custom exercises and choice of material is based on the student's level and field of study. Lessons are scheduled at the student's convenience as per availability. Frequency and length of lessons is based on the students needs.

I can teach beginners through college-entry anything from technique to music reading to audition selection.
