Ear Training is included in all music lessons. Learn to recognize and then predict tonal patterns making you a more accurate player and vocalist.

I teach ear training through a vocalist's perspective. I'll teach you how to read complex rhythms and melody lines. I can also teach you how to hear for chord changes and how to chart them.

Ear training is an incredibly important part of any musician's skillset, and I have studied ear training with a curriculum adapted from Juilliard and Conservatoire de Paris. My students learn to identify intervals, chords, and rhythms, and also learn to sing printed music without hearing it first.

As a professional teaching artist and vocal coach, I have been helping students of all ages and abilities "find their voice" for over 20 years. My goal is simple: to give you singing lessons that will change your life forever. You can uncover your voice, build unshakable confidence and have fun while learning techniques professional singers take onto the stage and into the studio. And, you can have a great time doing it!

In college I had probably the greatest musicianship teacher ever. Ear training can be laborious and tedious work which could effectively turn a musician away from the craft for good. That's why it's important to create and invent new ways of developing our ears. What I learned I will happily share with you and if it doesn't work for you we will find something that does.
