My personal philosophy of music is to explore and learn as much from my students as I can teach them. For me teaching is like going on an adventure to find something together. I've been able to play all over the world and tour with many different musicians and the thing that made the core of every great performance was the human interaction and communication. For me music is about being more human. This is something I just as much try to impart and teach in my lessons as theory and technique. (On a side note I can travel farther than 13 miles as long as it's in the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx).
It was entertaining and helpful lecture. I love Grady's class. He is such a good teacher!
Dynamic, fun, organized teacher. My son is learning a lot and loves it! Thanks, Grady!
It is such a joy to take lessons with Grady, he has such positive vibes and he is a perfect fit for our family. His lessons are never one dimensional and we love every minute.
He has a genuine passion for the piano and music theory and it resonates during each lesson whether it is for our child or for our adult lesson. We love Grady!

She eagerly anticipates her lessons with Grady and seems to have a fun time. As, she's only started less than two months ago, this is the most interest I've seen her have in anything ongoing. I'm thinking that her first experience with an instrument with Grady will likely lead to a lifetime enjoyment of playing.+ Read More
