Legit, one of the coolest people I've ever known. Deeply vested in getting you where you want to be. Eric helped me identify exactly where I wanted to go and a game plan to get to there. While our focus has always been voice, we've touched on guitar and even music in general (theory, production, business, etc.). If you've got a question, Eric has answers or deets on where to find them. He helped me organize and focus years of experience and practice into an effective and fun program, both in the studio and back home. Best part: dude leads by example. Rock on! \m/

I am starting from ground zero. Even so, in the first lesson we made progress, learning a few changes that are already improving what I had been doing in the past.

Rina is an excellent teacher. She takes the time to explain how notes are changing and how things are connected. She is easy going and knows the material very well. The hour went by very fast! Very happy I was able to connect with her.

Mel is a very patient and knowledgable teacher. I feel like I fumble along at the beginning of a lesson but by the end Mel has improved my technique and timing. I would definitely recommend Mel to anyone who wants to learn or improve on their instrument!

I've written a review for Paul before, but I would like to write one again! I was an amateur, self-taught guitar player who knew nothing about classical guitar, and I hired Paul to help me prepare for an audition for CSUN's music program. I only had 7 months to get prepare for my audition, and I passed with flying colors! I exceeded their expectations, and it was all thanks to him.

Paul is an incredible teacher. He's able to notice such small details and nuances in my playing. He's always able to identify where I'm having problems and knows exactly which pieces and exercises I should play to fix them. When I'm having trouble understanding a concept, he's able to break it down really well into simpler terms. I would highly recommend him for anyone trying to learn at any level.

I'm already a somewhat experienced guitarist, but Paul has been able to help me really hone and refine my skills. He's very skilled at finding areas where I have difficulty and recommending different songs and exercises to help me improve. I've only been receiving lessons for a few months, but I've already learned so much more from him than in the 5 years I've been teaching myself.

I'm Ahmad a very enthusiastic musician. I started out teaching myself guitar at the age of 12. I moved to the U.S. in 2001 and studied music for 15 years receiving my B.M. and M.M in music and audio production at San Francisco State University. I then moved to Los Angeles then studied and trained with John Mayer, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, George Lynch and many others. I have performed hundreds of concerts in the U.S. as well in Europe and the Middle East with Artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Michael Angelo Batio, Ratt, Sammy Hagar, Dokken and many others. I ranked #1 in the Slash Guitar Center competition. I was in the "list of top 5 guitar players ever" according to The Examiner, also picked as one of the best guitarists of 2013 and 2014 consecutively in the Rockwell UnScene magazine, and ranked 3rd in the Steve Vai Sam Ash Best in Shred competition.

I was fortunate enough to take lessons with Ahmad years ago and I can say he is the most committed and focused guitar teacher I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I've sorted through more than a few. When I returned to the area after a few years in a job out of state I very quickly looked Ahmad up and began working with him again. I believe he has a real skill at determining what his students need to focus on to arrive at their goals and he is equally adept at presenting the material in the right amount at the most beneficial time. His instruction bolstered my confidence as a musician and enabled me to achieve longstanding goals of playing with other musicians, in key and on time;) it is also very clear that teaching guitar is Ahmad's passion and I found that very important, it's what he does for a living sure, but his dedication is rooted in something deeper and it shows. There are many tips, licks, and tricks instructors out there and that can be fine, but a true teacher is rare indeed. If you follow his lead he'll make you better.

Ahmad is such a fabulous teacher!!! Super organized, always *always* keeps me on my toes, all while being incredibly kind, patient and encouraging. He's always got several ways to teach me the material, so when I am struggling there's another angle I can make progress in. So glad I found him, I have learned so much!
