Lydia was a breath of fresh air for my daughter who had already been taking harp for two years from an accomplished local harpist. She cared about my daughter and sought ways to help her reach her goals. It was enjoyable to watch them work together for two plus years online. I am truly so appreciative of Lydia and her harp lessons.

Lydia was wonderful! We had trouble getting a camera working first time, she was so patient. Building on the music base my daughter already had, she quickly zeroed in on what my daughter needs to work on. She looks forward to the next lesson. 😀

I can't recommend lessons with Tori highly enough!

I've been obsessed with oil painting, and every kind of 2D visual art, for as long as I can remember, but I never really believed in myself to do it until I worked with Tori.

My drawing, painting, and even my 3D work progressed more, and more quickly, working with Tori than they had in years

Thank you Tori!!!!
Lisa
My three boys (ages 11-15) loved working with Tori. We still have the block print-making pieces, paintings and charcoal drawings displayed in our kitchen. Their favorite project was creating plaster casts of their own faces. Tori is very thoughtful, patient and has a great zen energy. I highly recommend Tori!

I chose Eleonora as my 11-year-old daughter's harp instructor, and we've been really pleased and enriched by the experience. Early on, my daughter experienced an affinity for this instrument, and I've been very impressed by Eleonora's technique and teaching style and how she helps cultivate my daughter's organic joy and interest in this beautiful instrument. Eleonora is excellent with children, explaining music ideas in a way a child can understand, digest, and incorporate. She meets my daughter where ever is needed and has a great sense for this. When my daughter was learning something new, she told Eleonora, "This is hard." Eleonora responded casually and authoritatively: "There is no hard, only new." This, and the emphasis on practice, really eased my daughter who likes to get everything right the first time and needs this kind of reframing and encouragement when experiencing a new challenge. As an artist myself, I really appreciate this approach and philosophy, but most importantly, I can see my daughter does, too. Whether you're an adult learning for the first time or you have a child who has interest, let your musical lives be enriched by this patient, knowledgeable instructor.

I was always looking forward to her lessons: she inspired us to practice for competitions and she always encouraged me to play in front of an audience, giving the very best of my self.
Playing the harp has always been a great joy for me thanks to her lessons.

She changed my daughter’s life, who know has an excellent knowledge of music basics.

My experience ranges from teaching children and adults of all backgrounds. I founded Harp4all Music Conservatory and have regular harp ensemble practices and recitals. Sara possesses all of the qualities I admire in an excellent music teacher: musicianship, experience, patience, encouragement, gentle correction, clear communication, and dedication. Additionally, she is amazingly kind and selfless and an all around pleasant person to interact with and learn from. It is clear that she loves music and her students and is dedicated to helping them develop their abilities and confidence.

Chelsea is a fantastic teacher who combines a disciplined mastery of the harp with a genuine understanding of each student. She is engaging and kind with children and a lovely person and teacher in every way. We love working with her and it has been extremely gratifying to witness our children’s progress under her tutelage ! I feel so lucky to have her as our teacher.

Chelsea is WONDERFUL! She has supported every aspect of our son’s development with regard to his harp playing and we are so grateful for her support!! Chelsea is a top professional and anyone would be lucky to have her teach music!!
Stephanie
I had the benefit of taking lessons from Chelsea after I had been learning to play for a bit over a year. She was both encouraging and warm personally, and gave me several ways to think about technique, which helped a great deal. She was able to give me insights to help me get into music theory, as well as technique and practical questions, all so valuable for a beginner!

"I left Jill a review after my first lesson, but now that we've been together for a few months I wanted to write another. She is the most positive and encouraging teacher I could have ever asked for. My experience learning the harp was better because of her. I can't recommend her enough and hope others are able to experience the joy of learning a new instrument with her. "Kristie is an exceptional teacher whom I would recommend to any serious student. I studied with her for a year, which turned out to be one of the most productive periods of instruction that I've had. Kristie is particularly gifted in identifying where attention is needed, explaining and demonstrating clearly what the goal is, and suggesting good practice ideas for achieving the goal. She does all of this in a very relaxed manner that serves to promote growth, rather than to increase tension.

Kristie is also a terrific musician with a deep grasp of interpretation and performance. Her resume speaks for itself. It was always a pleasure just to hear her when she would sit at the instrument to illustrate a point.

On top of it all, she's a great person to know. What more could one want in a teacher?"

"When I was nursing a patients wife brought in her harp and played. I was so impressed with the soothing sound I asked her where she learned. She got me in contact with Ann and I started taking lessons. Having studied music I learned quickly. Yet I must say Ann is an excellent teacher. She is patient, encouraging and supportive. Clearly she is capable of teaching any one at any age. If you are interested in learning this most beautiful of instruments I highly recommend Ann your teacher. You will not be disappointed. You will also be very proud at what you will be able to learn in such a short time. This is also something you will have for a life time."

"Kristie taught my son harp for 1.5 years before he left for college. He absolutely loved Kristie. She is patient, and makes the lessons interesting and engaging. She allows students to choose from a selection of music so that they learn how to play something they like. She encourages experimentation and engagement. My son wanted to learn the harp because it was interesting, not because he wanted to be a world class performer. Kristie really got that and made the lessons something he looked forward to every week. And she herself was a world class performer so if that's what you're looking for in a teacher, she can deliver that to. Kristie is a super teacher; my son still keeps in touch with her and says lessons with Kristie were one of the highlights of high school."
