Teaching since:
January 2000

Hi! My name is Sara. My studio began in 2000, teaching one violin student. I took a break and went to college to earn my A.A. in Music and my Piano Performance Certificate from Riverside Community College in California. I graduated Great Distinction and was on the Dean's list. I received many piano and academic scholarships. While in college I started my studio in Riverside California teaching Piano to an autistic child. I taught him 3 times a week and made exceptional progress. I enjoyed it so much I started teaching full time in 2008 teaching piano, harp, violin, voice, guitar, flute and clarinet. Soon I had 50 students and created a 501 (c) (3) non-profit music school. My students and I perform for the public, including nursing homes. The performances are important for the students progress as well as the Piano Guild where students are adjudicated by judges in a non competitive environment. Moving back to my hometown, I am excited to meet new students!

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Sara. She is friendly and encouraging, and gave me some very useful instruction to improve my playing. It was my first lesson with a harp teacher, and I'm glad it was with her, as I felt I received a much needed confidence boost! I look forward to future lessons with her.

Sara introduced my 6 year old son to ukulele though online lessons. She was patient, positive, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Sara if you are thinking about having your son or daughter try out an instrument.

This was my daughter's first lesson. My daughter was pretty nervous at first, but Sara made us both feel very comfortable and at ease. She has such patience and grace and her kindness just flows from her. She puts a smile on your face and assures confidence within you that you can learn to play the violin. We look forward to many more lessons with Sara! Thank you Sara, and God bless you!

Sara has been great. She is committed to my 11 yr old daughter's lessons and has been articulate in lesson presentation as well as effective in dialing in the right program for her. She is always on time for online lessons, and stays engaged until the end. Sara has even given lessons as late as 11PM her time to accommodate our west coast schedule. We just signed up for more lessons! Yay!

This was my first lesson with Sara and I already learned things I never heard about before. I am an adult student that has not picked up a clarinet in years!!! If I had Sara for a teacher I would of did this years ago:)) I immediately felt connected to her and she is very encouraging. Looking forward to my next lesson. Thank you:-)

Not only is Sara very musically adept, but like a true professional, she is very patient with me. I am one of Sara's older students, so her patience is greatly appreciated. Though this was my first time speaking to Sara via Skype, I felt like I've known Sara for years; she made me feel very comfortable. I can truly say that this professional relationship is undoubtedly one that was made in music heaven. I look forward to our next lesson!

It was only my first lesson, but I thought the material was very well paced and Sara gave me a lot of technical detail, which is what I like. Looking forward to my next lesson!

Sara is the kindest piano instructor. Although it's online teaching, my daughter has continued to embrace her learning and advance to a higher level. Sara is patient and teaches in a way that my daughter (10 years of age) understands. I appreciate the opportunities Sara provides for my daughter to perform before a Guild judge to challenge her learning further. My daughter has been with Sara for about three years and we're blessed to have her in our lives.

Mrs. Sara is a wonderful and enthusiastic teacher. She taught my daughter to really enjoy the piano through her kind and patient approach. She teaches the foundation of music by incorporating fun exercises and homework. My daughter learned to read notes and play short pieces in such a short time. Overall great experience!

My daughter always looks forward on her SKYPE lessons with Mrs. Sara.
Even though we miss her in person, Skype lessons with Mrs. Sara are awesome. Mrs. Sara is very kind, caring and a wonderful teacher. I know when my daughter took lessons at another location with another school she hated going and was not comfortable with her teacher. When I found Mrs. Sara and seen how my daughter was so happy and excited for every lesson she has taken with Mrs. Sara I know I have found an Awesome teacher. I am grateful to see the improvements and also listen to the beautiful music that my daughter plays on her Harp because of her amazing teacher. THANK YOU MRS. SARA

Mrs. Sara has been teaching my daughters since for over 3 years. It's has been an incredible experience and has developed into a lifelong love of music for them. Not only is she a talented musician, Mrs. Sara has an amazing presence with children of all ages (my youngest is 6 and my oldest is almost 19) and the patience required for teaching young children. We absolutely love learning from her and I have even picked up a few things even though I haven't taken lessons myself. We couldn't have asked for better instructor and have recommended her to many friends. We have had harp, piano, voice, ear training and some guitar lessons from her and she has been an excellent instructor in all aspects and subjects.
