Andrew is such a great teacher! I'm a beginner guitar player who wanted to learn some of the basics and work on my technique, and Andrew was so patient and really took the time to work with me. Very easy-going and helpful, even though I know I'm not the best player. He clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to anything guitar-related and I cannot wait to set up another lesson. I already feel more confident in my abilities! Thanks Andrew!

Whether you're looking to play the blues, serenade your crush, shred face-melting guitar solos, or any other smattering of skills, lessons will be catered to meet the individual goals of the student. If I could give Brian 10 stars, I would. He is enthusiastic, present, supportive and highly knowledgeable. Learning instruments has always been a challenge for me , but Brian makes being a banjo beginner an absolute joy. I look forward to practicing every day, and can really hear my progress - which amazes me because it's only been just over a month. I can see myself working with Brian for the long haul. He puts me at ease, and always gives great responsive tips that improve my playing immediately. I feel SO lucky to have stumbled across his profile.

The guitar is an incredibly flexible and diverse instrument. I have played in a variety of styles and genres (though I certainly have my favorites!), and I want to help you unlock the tools you already have so that you can play your favorites as well, regardless of what they may be. They key is understanding not only how the guitar works, but how you work when you're playing the guitar. I always strive to help my students understand the music they're playing, the instrument they're playing on, and themselves. With a good understanding of those things, there's no limit to what you can accomplish in music!

About Kirk

I have been studying music for most of my life and began teaching when I was 16. I have been given the opportunity to learn from some of the best musicians and teachers around. Before relocating to Denver, I regularly gave performances throughout the Cincinnati area, as well as in surrounding state

Online Acoustic Guitar Teacher

Successfully teaching current students with clear, concise lessons.

All of my current students have developed confidence and enthusiasm to learn all materials presented in an easy to comprehend format.

Each student learns at different levels so all lessons are customized to challenge them but also insure they learn and retain all materials presented to them.

Currently have 16 students ranging from beginners to advanced level.
When selecting a teacher, make arrangements to meet in person to review short and long term goals of learning a musical instrument. Pricing should only be used as the last criteria before making a final decision. It's important to insure your instructor is patient and willing to challenge students to setup a practice routine that will fit their current schedule.

If a student needs an instrument, have instructor give recommendations based on the musical styles they are interested in learning.

Students often ask how long it will take to learn to play a Guitar.

About Alejandro

What is your typical process for working with a new student? Initially will setup lesson plans for first 3 cycles of instruction. Lessons are based on the time frame selected (1/2 hr, hr) and are mandatory once a week. We can also discuss additional lessons if desired up to 3 lessons within a w
