You've got to walk before you can run, so I focus on the basics. But, the basics can be a lot of fun! Especially once we start to apply them to your favorite songs, and being creative with them - that's kind of what it's all about!
About Mike
Learning to play an instrument is a mixture of a lot of fun, and a lot of hard work. My strength is finding what will inspire my students to WANT to put in those difficult hours of practice, and then showing them how to apply what they have learned in a creative way, so that they experience the fu

Each lesson is catered specifically to the student. I want each student to be able to reach their own specific goals, while having the time of their life!
About Sean
Drummer Sean Case, 31, started playing at age 7 when he began studying with Mark Foster, a local free-lance percussionist in the Denver area. After high school he enrolled at the Colburn Conservatory in LA, where he studied with Jack van Geem, former Principal Percussionist of the San Francisco Sym

Sean really knows percussion. I've witnessed this both during lessons and when my family watched him perform with the Lone Tree Symphony. Sean is wonderful with kids. Although my son has attention issues, Sean is extremely patient, and he is able to efficiently redirect and focus my son. With Sean, music lessons are enjoyable. He has taken the time to get to know my son and how my son learns. I feel like the lessons are tailored extremely well for my child's abilities. Best of all, Sean is just a wonderful person. He's easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. My son looks forward to his lessons with Sean each week. You won't find a better percussion instructor!

I'm a professional drummer, and studied jazz drums with the legendary Billy Hart at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. I have experience playing jazz, Latin, pop/rock, African, and contemporary Christian music at a professional level.
Though advanced jazz drumming is my specialty, I love teaching drum lessons to students of all skill levels, and welcome beginner and intermediate students as well as advanced ones.
Lessons with me will be catered to your individual needs. I also have a jazz-drums-specific curriculum that we can through together if that is your area of interest.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

We are so glad we found Eric! After trying (and failing) with two other drum coaches who lacked a crucial requirement--in one case, depth of knowledge, and in another case, patience--my son has been taught by Eric for three years and has become an excellent drummer. Eric is highly knowledgeable, very patient, and a great communicator. He is the best music teacher we've found (and that includes three music teachers we used for another child, who took lessons for several instruments). Eric is also very knowledgeable about several other instruments. You cannot find a better music teacher than Eric!"

Michael has been a great teacher to my 5-year old. My son and I both came to him with no experience with drums/music education and Michael was able to teach my son in a way that was fun and kept the attention of a 5 year old, while still being able to grasp the concepts and foundations of music. As a parent, I admired his enthusiasm and excitement of my sonâs progression. He is very passionate about what he does and it is exemplified through his lessons. My son truly enjoys the lessons and even practices on his own throughout the week and this is definitely attributable to Michaelâs instruction style and passion for his craft. I would absolutely recommend Michael as a teacher."

My 8-year old is taking drum lessons from David & my 10-year old is taking guitar. These lessons are something - to my surprise and elation - they look forward to every week. David is incredibly kind and patient (lucky for us) and super professional - he is on time to the minute every week.
We couldn't be more thrilled and frankly honored that David comes into our home every week to teach our sons these instruments.
Because of our experience I would recommend David and TakeLessons to anyone - children & adults alike."
