Ear Training Lessons in Herculaneum. Amazing Teachers.

Experienced with over twenty years in ear training, available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation for ear training skills. Within the first couple of sessions you will be confident in your new found skill.

I have been tutoring in ear training for 6 months. I use solfege and will help the student gain a foundation with being able to sight read songs in major and minor keys and being able to recognize intervals and specific modes.

Ear training is an essential tool for expressing yourself with music. It is often the trick to getting those melodies stuck in your head out into the world, and it is the true key to working in any kind of musical ensemble. I will work with you on interval identification, pitch repetition, and improv-based recall games to strengthen your listening skills for any musical situation.

Learn the notes of music, major and minor keys, chord construction, scales, transcription, reading, ear training, timing and rhythm, music theory, improvising, several playing techniques, how to play songs, and much more. i teach not just to play but to understand what you are playing.

During the lesson, students will begin with a performance of the material they have completed throughout the week. Corrections may be made.
