I totally enjoyed my class with Geoff. We immediately started my lesson with tuning the ukulele. Then we went over the cords and strumming. I have been researching on playing the ukulele and his explanation on the strumming was a lot better than the book. He is teaching me how to play by listening to the notes which is great because I would be able to play the Hawaiian music for my hula classes. In addition, his studio is only a 5 minute drive from my house, which means I don’t have to deal with traffic.

Rachel provides instructions that are understandable, and that you can use to improve your technical skills and make true progress. She has also change my approach to piano practising. Ed is very knowledgeable and makes the learning process enjoyable
Larry
Ed's vast knowledge, experience and easy demeanor is helping me finally gain a better knowledge of the fretboard and expand beyond "blues box 1" and connect the patterns. I think I see a light bulb.
Larry
Ed has a pleasant easy going personality. I've had a couple of teachers who were great players, but lousy teachers. I quit my last teacher because he was completely unprepared and what we did had nothing to do with what we did the previous lesson that I had spent so much time practicing. I got the feeling he thought he was so good he could just wing it. Wrong. I've only had one lesson with Ed, but he seems well prepared and he has his program structured so the student can learn in a progressive manor.

I had a great time learning how to play guitar and am on my way to playing my favorite songs! Would highly recommend!!
Joseph
I learned everything I know about guitar from Peter, because of him I have an excellent understanding of not only how to play guitar, but how to structure and write music. This has led me to play live music and jam with musicians on a regular basis. He is an amazing guitar instructor, and can teach you whatever you want to learn — I highly recommend him.

"He was very helpful with so much patience.
Also he has his own material which he’d been teaching 20 years experience in Berklee, NEC, MI, CSCM,, etc.
So I could trust him and he had very deep thought and clear about what he teach.
We had some conversations while the private lesson was going on... lots of story that he told me was amazing and unbelievable. Not only The theory and the knowledge that you would get from him, also whole lot of different variety of infusions he will provide and it will help you improve as a musicIan and as an artist.
Thank you Carlos!!"

"If you are aurally challenged when it comes to intervals and harmonic progressions, I definitely recommend tutoring. Michelle was very patient during our lessons and had different tips on how to identify certain progressions, which I appreciated. We also worked on complex rhythms together. It was actually really fun. She's very kind, resourceful, and an excellent tutor."

"When I was in school, my teachers never taught theory or ear training. Michael was very patient teaching an old dog new tricks. I am now able to do close listening to music, and can sometimes figure out how to play a piece of music without it written down. Thank you so much!"

"Carlos has been an excellent mentor, instructor in my music journey so far. He has guided me in not only academic areas, but also career and business areas.

I still remember his Ear Training lessons from 8 years ago, which was how I met him. He opened up my perception to music in ways I didn't know existed. To this day I continue to learn from him and I will forever be grateful to him.

He is one of the kindest people I have met and genuinely cares for his students growth."
