Ear training is an essential skill for instrument learning. From years of playing horn and conservatory theory, I have gained experience in aural recognition. We will work on prepared and sight-singing along with dictation as a fundamental part of the lesson.

Years of experience practicing ear training with different methods I could give you a very wide range of tools to enhance your musical ear based on classical and alternative approaches to ear training!

I LOVE teaching Ear Training. Learning how to read and write music is such a helpful skill. Notating your own ideas is super helpful as a composer. I have a step by step comprehensive method and will encourage you every step of the way. I know that Ear Training can be challenging but it can also be just as rewarding!

Ear training is important when it comes to being a good overall musician and singer. I work with students to be able to identify chords, chord progressions, pitches, and more! This can also be a part of piano and singing lessons depending on the students level and goals.
