Will we start fro simple major melodies, and then progress from there.
We can go as far as atonal music. In between we will study minor, and all of the modes.
A main tool for ear trainmen will be sight singing using the syllables (do,re,me,fa,etc) We will also focus on dictation of melodies rhythms and chords.
I will mainly be teaching using the methods of Berklee College of Music. Going further, we can work on transcription, and applying ear training skills to real musical scenarios. Studying ear training on a deep level will enhance one’s musical potential in a simple, easy to understand way.
