Hey there!
My passions are technique and accuracy; by perfecting technique comes a deeper understanding of theory. I have lots of teaching methods that will encourage you to play your favorite songs and styles with the sounds you like.
I'll focus on the very basics of guitar theory in order to get to a higher level of understanding music theory.
I will challenge you! We will have lots of fun and you will see, hear, and feel your own improvements with my teachings.

Classical guitar was my instrumental concentration in college. I will teach basics of the style and technique and we'll learn some really beautiful European and Latin-American pieces of guitar literature.

Experienced music and guitar teacher of 35+ years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of guitar and musical skills. I specialize in all styles and age levels, and typically use my books, "Learning to Play Guitar" and "Exploring Chords and Scales". My music and books have been popular and sold world-wide for many years now. I have a Masters Degree, a Teaching Credential, and a Bachelors degree : all in music.

I've been teaching Classical Guitar for about 3 years now and Basically what you would get from learning this style is the original way on how to play guitar, theory within music, build your ear, learn how to read music and build independence in both hands but at the same time teaching them how to play together. Ultimately you learn many things from focusing on one.
