My music lessons are fun and educational. Students are busy and dealing with life. Music should not be another thing you "get through". Whether you're young and dealing with multiple subjects in school or you're an adult with a job and responsibilities, music should be the place to escape all of that. I want to teach you whatever you would like to learn and develop a curriculum based on your own wants.

Want to learn songs from your favorite bands? Great! Let's do that!

Want to prepare for college auditions to become a music major? I can help you with that!

Want to play music with your friends and be a part of a cool band? I've been there and done that, and can help you with that too.

Whatever your reason for playing music, whether its for fun or scholarships or auditions or whatever, music should be FUN! I want to help you with that.

There are materials like "Stick Control" and "Survival Guide for the Modern Drummer" but at the end of the day, I want to help you play music, ...

George explained things very simply.

George, was very patient, kind, and seem very knowledgeable. He seems to understand the pedagogy of teaching to kids and realize they all learn differently. I personally think he went above and beyond for my Son first class and for our first introduction. He offered a more modern approach method of teaching music and Piano to my son who so far seem more receptive in learning and practicing. Will se where that take us but I am very please so far.

George is totally passionate about teaching. He encourages the kids to practice and do their best. He has great knowledge and understanding of music theory. He is pleasant, easy going and works really well with kids. Overall really good teacher. Recommend!

Hello. My lessons are for beginning and intermediate students looking to improve their skills for school band or acoustic drum-set. Students will need to have acoustic drums to allow for practice between sessions. We will work on your skill-set relative to your level of experience. Each lesson will build on the next. In the end, I want my students to be comfortable and confident when performing with bandmates in front of an audience. If you are comfortable and confident then you will have fun. It all works together. Parents are welcome to sit in and listen.

About David

I started drumming at age 12. First Junior High Band and Junior High Jazz Band. Then High School Band, Drum & Bugle Corp on the weekends, High School Marching Band, High School Jazz Band, Garage Bands, and rock bands that played gigs. Then College Band, College Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and d

"Matthew is a fantastic instructor and he has a lot of patients. I am a new drummer and he thought me and my two boys on how to drum and now after about a year we can actually enjoy drumming and we are having a blast. My older has special needs and I am so impressed that he will actually come and play the drums on his own now which would have never happened without Matthews teaching. My younger boy is doing so well too. We will continue to take lesson even with our busy schedules since we really enjoy our lessons with Matthew. Thank you Matthew."

"When I say he is the best instructor ever, I mean that he is the BEST INSTRUCTOR EVER! I took lessons from a teacher closer to where I live, however, did not feel I was effectively learning. I decided to look in the Atlanta area for someone, thinking there would be more options. Casey came up so I decided to give him a try. The hour+ drive I take to get to him is 110% worth it. I have learned so much from him; he is incredibly talented and has the best teaching strategies...not to mention he is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I look forward to continuing to work with him. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to seriously learn to play drums."

"Danilo is a really great drum teacher. Challenging, but also meets you at what ever level you're at. When limbs don't know how to rally together for a new thing, he's a very good cheerleader until it comes together or helps make it make sense to break through that wall. Enjoys good music too. Super recommend."

"I took lessons from Ray for about 4 months because I wanted to take my drumming skills to the next level. Ray's teaching method is unique and effective. It's simple as that!. After 2 lessons my band mates started noticing better chops, more control on the drum set (as far as dynamics) and tasteful fills. My hand/foot coordination has improved radically thanks to those exercises customized and developed by Ray that target the weak areas. At my first lesson, Ray and I discussed my short but demanding list of concepts that I wanted to work. He was able to understand all my concerns in a heartbeat and put together a teaching plan that covered more than what I was expecting. Needless to say that Ray is a humble person and a great drummer ( I stole a of of licks from him!). The studio is very neat and organized. It has technology and equipment that as a student you can use for free. Another advantage is that Ray's studio has two drum sets so the theory and the actual practice happen in real time. Also, the studio location is very convenience. If you are a drummer looking for effective drum lessons, any style, any level don't hesitate to contact Ray. You won't regret it!. He is an A+ drum instructor."
