I have been teaching guitar full time from very young age its been about 12 years. and I have been helping many individuals to achieve their musical goals. I would encourage my students to learn essential elements of music properly and build the proper foundation from the start. building the good foundation doesn't mean to be boring it can be really fun at the same time. when you understand and be able to see the use of it in the process.

About Amir

Amir is a very good guitar teacher. I play classical guitar and I wanted to also learn Flamenco. Amir is specialized in this art-form and passionate about it. He has a lot of patience, and explains the concepts clearly. He also looks carefully at every aspect of my playing, pin-pointing and correcting errors I make that otherwise I would not be aware of. He is always ready to answer questions and insists that I play that piece of music very well, before going further. After only a few weeks with Amir my flamenco started to sound very well, and I am confident that soon I will play at the speed and accuracy that this music form demands. I look forward to many more great lessons with Amir.

Successfully teaching current students with clear, concise lessons.

All of my current students have developed confidence and enthusiasm to learn all materials presented in an easy to comprehend format.

Each student learns at different levels so all lessons are customized to challenge them but also insure they learn and retain all materials presented to them.

Currently have 16 students ranging from beginners to advanced level.
When selecting a teacher, make arrangements to meet in person to review short and long term goals of learning a musical instrument. Pricing should only be used as the last criteria before making a final decision. It's important to insure your instructor is patient and willing to challenge students to setup a practice routine that will fit their current schedule.

If a student needs an instrument, have instructor give recommendations based on the musical styles they are interested in learning.

Students often ask how long it will take to learn to play a Guitar.

About Alejandro

What is your typical process for working with a new student? Initially will setup lesson plans for first 3 cycles of instruction. Lessons are based on the time frame selected (1/2 hr, hr) and are mandatory once a week. We can also discuss additional lessons if desired up to 3 lessons within a w

Kept missing class without any heads up so I had to just wait around and hope he'll show up, ignored my calls and messages to reschedule, so I had to just get a refund from TakeLessons. As a teacher he is good, but very unprofessional behavior in terms of accountability and respect for students' time.

"I have taken instrument lessons in the past, but never for guitar, which I have been teaching myself for many years. I’m glad I came across Nathan because he seems to be able to answer all of my questions that I had stocked up. We began with a lesson about the history of tuning frequencies because I mentioned I was interested in that. An hour flew by as we went over everything from the fundamentals to learning certain scales and theory that will help me in the music that I tend to play.
Nathan is very pleasant, easygoing and thoughtful in approach. Now I have some awesome charts and scales to absorb and practice because he left me with the best visual diagrams of scales on a fretboard I have ever seen. Looking forward to more lessons!"

"I've taken lessons from William for several years. He helped me choose several of my guitars and worked with me on my acoustic, classical and electric guitars. His knowledge is extensive as guitars are his life. I've had other guitar instructors who teach to make money, or on the side. William on the other hand, teaches because he lives guitar, it's his passion.

William is exceptional with many of the technical aspects that improved my playing efficiency and increased my safety on the guitar. You might ask, "What do I mean by safety?" He taught me how to hold my guitar and reinforces playing it in a manner that reduces the potential for injuries and allows me to play for longer periods of time without getting tired. That's very important if you love the guitar!

No matter what style of playing I'm interested in, William has been excellent in showing me how to achieve the sound I'm looking for. If I want to play a particular song and he doesn't know it, all I have to do is play it on I-Tunes for him. He immediately shows me how to play the song, or adapt it to my level so that I can.

William is a patient and enthusiastic teacher that encourages and challenges me to continue to improve. That's why I continue to take lessons from him and recommend him to anyone who is serious about learning to play.
Cheers,"
