Lessons with me are super fun and worth while. I don’t like to cover scales unless we will use them or a piece we are learning covers it! I always try and make the music fun and worth while.

About James

I play and teach music in a part of Tennessee called Chattanooga. You might have heard of Chattanooga from the song Chattanooga Choo Choo! I love to play and teach music and try to always make it fun, sometimes music is hard work though! But everything in life worth while takes some work. I’d love

Mark has been a great teacher for this adult beginner! I take lessons in clawhammer banjo and ukulele with him, and his easy-going nature and skill in identifying ways to improve make it a joyful experience! Highly recommend.

Mr. Sylvester is one of the greatest. He is not just an amazing guitarist, but he is also very kind. He treats people with so much respect. He speaks to me and my mom so nicely. He is very patient. He has a deep knowledge of music and knows how to get the most out of even the least talented people (like me!). He doesn't ever get mad if you make a mistake or forget to bring your music notes. We were so lucky to find Mr. Sylvester.

Mark is a talented musician who plays and teaches multiple stringed instruments. His lessons are always informative and supportive. They are driven by the student’s interest, so anything you want o learn— styles of music, how to do a particular technique, music theory— you can bring to class. And every now and then he organizes a recital— terrifying but great practice!

I can definitely teach any serious student how to play well. I can get you ready to play in a band and perform live. Classic Rock, Blues and Jazz are my specialties. I've been teaching and performing these styles nationally for over 30 years. If you really want to learn how to play well, I'm your teacher. We'll definitely have fun and the more you practice, the more fun you'll have. And if you just want to learn a few chords and a few tunes to strum, we can do that too. You pick, guitar hero or just a fun hobby. Anyone can learn to play and have fun with the way I teach.

Tom is an excellent music teacher. He has been teaching our granddaughter classical guitar and we have been very pleased. I taught instrumental and vocal music in the public schools. I also taught strings at the Arts School .
He is well educated in the music field and has had so much performing experience so he has a very well rounded background, I think you would be very pleased
to study with Tom.

I have had a terrific experience working with Tom. Playing guitar for nearly 20 years, I was looking for advanced instruction and coaching. Focusing specifically on Jazz, Tom has helped me elevate my playing ability and understanding of the art form. Tom is a professional musician that has an ability to connect with his students of all ages and levels. I highly recommend working with Tom.

Tom connects very well his student, digging into the student's current location in their musical journey and showing the path forward. He's also very generous with his musical wisdom.

I would highly recommend Tony Mitri as a voice and music instructor. My son takes lessons with Mr. Mitri and his progress has been astounding! He studies with other teachers previously without much success. My son has said he has learned more from Mr. Mitri than all of his previous instructors. He enjoys the lessons so he works harder at making progress and it shows. He helped him expand his range substantially, and increase his confidence. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in music of any kind. Mr.Mitri is awesome professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed.

"My son had been taking lessons for 4 years in the Suzuki program. We relocated to FL and were looking for a new instructor. We found Remi after searching for classical instructors in the area. Our previous instructor talked to Remi and thought he would be a good fit for our son. The first lessons were seamless, our son felt very confortable with Remi. Our son could learned through memorization and never learned to read music except for a few notes. In the last 4 months our son has learned to read music at a higher level along with timings and rhythms. We would definitely recommend Remi to anyone wanting to learn to play guitar or learn how to play better."

"Ahmad is a gifted and patient instructor. I was looking for a jump-start towards learning to play guitar after years of false starts on my own and Ahmad was the perfect choice for me. It's rare for someone with his playing ability to also be able to impart knowledge to those with far less innate ability but Ahmad is able to relate to his students at their level (whatever it may be). Ahmad has a way of making his students understand that bad habits can be overcome over time and he has distilled his approach so that anyone he works with can improve. I'd recommend him for anyone looking to improve regardless of their skill level."

Guitar teacher Nils B. shares his tips to learning four classic rock solos so you can develop your technique... An essential part of every musician's development is to imitate those who have already mastered their instrument. After settling on a song, give it a couple of close listens (preferably on headphones or a decent stereo), pick up a good transcription, then learn the rhythm parts, while …
