Everyone's a Poet/Singer/Songwriter at heart! We all have songs and melodies and poetic fancies that have been sleeping inside of us (sometimes for years), and we long to bring them out, but somehow lack the tools, and, most importantly, the encouragement to share our creative treasure trove with others, and, even for our own self satisfaction. As an awarding and published poet, (see Amazon.com for my "Kaleidoscope: Life's Meaningful Reflections" series of books and audio books) I'll help you begin to express your thoughts, emotions, and stories in your own songs, and in your own unique style that will bring your message to the world! No time like the present to start!

I am a professional speaker and I decided to pursue some speaker voice coaching. This was my first lesson and Vanessa was friendly and great personality. I felt comfortable with her
immediately. She provided education, demonstration, observed me apply the techniques, and offered constructive feedback. After the class, I was excited to practice what I learned. I will definitely continue to go back to Vanessa. I highly recommend her.

After years of teaching all levels, and many different styles of voice and piano lessons, I can tell you this-- I LOVE teaching! My students have ranged from 5 to over 65, from classical piano, or jazz/pop piano, to pop/rock/jazz singing, to songwriting and/or ear-training, and no matter what we al

Perry takes the time to explain flamenco and related styles deeply and thoroughly. He also provides detailed micro-scale feedback on hand/arm placement, orientation, range and which muscle groups to engage. But more than the technical, he has an awesome vibe and makes learning guitar quite an enjoyable experience.

"Fawn is an amazing teacher. I've been taking songwriting classes from her and I learn something new every lesson. She's very sweet, talented, encouraging, and understanding. I was nervous to take lessons online at first, as I've never done it before, then was unsure who I should take from because I didn't want to get someone who was terrible. I got really lucky though, I highly recommend her. She's absolutely fantastic."

"He just makes our music so much better. An exceptional teacher.

Randy has worked with my partner and I for 15 years. He took our melodies, arranged them, and turned them into songs that were actually singable. Watching Randy run a rehearsal and teach people songs is a sight to behold. He makes it happen quickly and efficiently, and we always have fun.

In all sincerity, I consider Randy to be the most talented musician I've ever known. He is a great teacher, even of inexperienced adults, and fun to work with. A winning combination all the way around.

"Amazing teacher

I have been working with Jan for about four weeks now, and already, I'm changing the direction in which I am chasing my dreams. The fact that she is experienced in every genre of acting, songwriting, music production, and singing, makes her the best possible teacher to receive lessons from. She is the type of teacher that doesn't care about going over the time limit just to further explain something, listen to what you have to say or to give more direction. She has written her own book on songwriting called, "Once More With Feeling" where she explains everything in great detail, step by step. Anything you want to work on, she will be right behind you all the way. I had so many doubts about taking an online course in singing for many reasons, but I was SO WRONG. Instead of getting a decent teacher that you can work with face to face in your area, get the BEST teacher and work with her in the convenience of your own home. It's worth it, plus cheaper! She is to say the least, phenomenal, I am already seeing results and I only just had my fourth lesson. She has a reputation for making artists' celebrity status, with just a little drive and persistence you could have a worthwhile time learning with Jan."

"The songwriting classes with Kenneth have been very beneficial. In just a short period of time, I have learned so much about songwriting techniques. Kenneth has demonstrated to me the step by step lyric writing process. I have been able to make lyrics I wrote come alive once music was added to my song. I highly recommend Kenneth to anyone needing guidance with learning more about songwriting techniques."

Lyrically Stuck? Think Like Eddie Vedder

Earlier this week, Eddie Vedder announced the venues for his upcoming solo tour, stopping in 13 cities to promote his 2011 album "Ukelele Songs." The tour begins on April 11th in Las Vegas, and then works across the country, ending on May 16th in Orlando.  Pearl Jam embarks on its European tour just one month after. Vedder's passion-filled lyrics, ranging in topics from personal to political, have made him one of the most prominent songwriters of the rock-and-roll genre.  Pair that with his …
