Fun exercises, digging deep lyrically, advancing musical palette through ear training, listening to the masters

About Lisa

My student said it best, "I've had the privilege of having Lisa as my voice instructor. In a matter of a few lessons, she began to help me smooth out my vocal breaks and extend my range. Lisa provides great exercises and technique that strengthen and improve your singing. She is someone you can tru

It was wonderful for lisa to have the patience to help me believe that I could improve my vocals.. we did some ear training to help me get more in tune with the music!
Lisa has lots of enthusiasm and is excited with singing and helping others improving their singing abilities.
We did some group classes too, which were fun and those really engaging and motivating for the whole group.

Lisa worked with my 10- and 6-year-old boys. They absolutely loved the lessons. We could hear them playing and laughing the whole time. She's really talented at teaching children.

I also took a lesson with her myself and it was everything I hoped for and more. I like technical details when learning and Lisa adapted the lesson to that preference very nicely.

Bottom line: Lisa is an amazing instructor and you or your children will learn a lot from her.

Several lessons with Lisa helped me to feel comfortable singing in my upper register. I was a very low alto, now, in my good days, I can belt Adele's notes (I didn't say I sound like Adele, though)

I am really impressed with Chuck's ability to get right to the things I want to learn while still explaining the fundamentals. I'm a self-taught guitar player (30 years) but I came to Chuck with no reading skills and no piano experience at all. He has been able to take what I know and show me how to apply it to learning theory, but within 3 lessons he also has me really excited about playing actual music that I'm into. Great learning studio and professional yet laid-back demeanor. Definitely plan on sticking with Chuck.

I've been teaching songwriting sessions for Girls Rock Camp, the Girl Scouts and a few Youth Programs in the area. Song writing sessions is a workshop that helps my students place their words into a rhythm. This class is great for group lessons.

About Rachel

I started my musical path in a Ballet Studio. I fell in love with the crackle of the vinyl record playing as I learned to listen and dance with the rhythm. I started playing the guitar when I was in elementary and took classical lessons until I was a teenager.I really enjoy the art of practice

As an instructor Fernando, listens and pays attention to what it is I’m saying and is very good at readying the tone of our class/session and can change things up/move the lesson in a different direction to better help me. Weather I’m just not getting it, or if there seams to be an exercise I get very quickly, he does not waist time in that area. He creates a comfortable space that lets you know it’s ok to do things with your voice that maybe in the past you where nervous to do or even told not to do. This little tid bit right there is why everyone needs to give it a shot, I would highly recommend Fernando!! I give him an A++ Rating.

"I have been taking lessons with Jimmy for years now for music theory, acoustic guitar, singing, recording, and now songwriting. Its awesome to have all those options in one place. Jimmy has a lot of experience when it comes to writing songs and it shows in the way he teaches. He always shows excitement towards the new songs I bring to him, and encourages me to keep writing. He has taught me how easy it can be to create songs, while taking what he has taught me with music theory to push the song to the next level. The best part is when I decide I like a song, he has the ability to record it for me in his studio. This process of recording and listening to what you have created is invaluable. I always look forward to lessons with Jimmy and highly recommend him."

"Andrew's fantastic musicianship mixed with a low key personality,
is the perfect recipe for a great music instructor.
Aspiring bass players should capitalize on his ability to play
both fluid single note lines-and this is key-his incredibly
funky bottom end. Non-bassists, never fear. He also has the solid music
theory thing down so there is something for everyone to take your musical knowledge to the next level."

"My voice has significantly improved after lessons with Hannah. My tone and pitch have also improved dramatically. If you are interested in writing songs, Hannah is also a great teacher for that. I have written many songs since taking lessons from her. You don't even have to leave your home because Hannah can teach skype lessons. Many people don't like Skype lessons because they seem impersonal. I recommend trying a free lesson. You will see that Hannah makes it seem like she's there in person. I live in the country so this has been very convenient. I love her teaching style. She has empowered me to create many beautiful songs. She is very well qualified and knows what she's talking about."

"Wonderful Teacher!

Hi I am Matt Ellis and I have been taking lessons with Kimberly for about 5 months. My singing ability has improved incredibly. When you sit in on a lessons with Kimberly she analyzes your voice very carefully and matches exercises to what she thinks is best for you.Personally I have had trouble with sustaining my voice for long periods of time due to vocal damage.I noticed right away after my first couple of lessons my voice just seemed healthier and in better shape with the exercises we did.Now my voice sustains better than ever! With a larger range and I now have a ear for Harmony as well. I would suggest Kimberly to anyone who wants to improve there voice and learn in a very comfortable environment.Within the first 10 minutes of my first lesson I was totally comfortable to just let loose and sing!Without being worried about my tone because she creates a very safe atmosphere for improvement. So If your looking for great lessons and a great teacher GO TO KIMBERLEY!"
