My lessons are both fun and educational, with flexibility to honor each student's needs and goals. During my time as a drummer, I have had the pleasure of studying music with Dr. Richard Ripani, Eddie Bell, and renowned big band drummer Duffy Jackson in Nashville, TN. I graduated in May 2017 with a degree in Studio Music/Jazz Performance at UT Knoxville, studying with Professor Keith Brown. I want to pass on all the knowledge I gained from them to you! See you soon!

The drum set is a important instrument for every musician to try out, and it can be a ton of fun! A beginning student can expect to play along to many of their favorite songs in just a few weeks. An intermediate to advanced student can expect to have a skillset that will propel them into auditions with bands in whatever genre most interests them. This would entail an understanding of polyrhythm, feel (swing vs. straight, for example), consistent tempo and the ability to replicate basic drumbeats in any genre on their instrument. Any drum beat can be simplified or made more complex to suit the students ability level, so we can delve in to whatever kind of drum-beats inspire you!
About Julian
My musical background is uniquely rooted in classical training and popular music (non-classical) experience. I have professionally played toured and/or taught on a variety of instuments including Bass, Drums, Guitar, Piano, Ukulele and Voice for the past 8 years all over the world. My main focus ha

I've been teaching drum set for 5 years. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to properly hold a pair of sticks and as time goes on you'll be able to effectively keep time, and play along to songs. I specialize in rock, fuck, pop, and blues drumming. In my lessons I typically us the instructional books Syncopation by Ted Reed and the Drummer's Bible by Mick Berry. At lessons I have two drum sets, drum pads, sticks, brushes, music stands, and various drum books. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and am excited to teach.
About Danny
I have been playing and performing the drums for the past 16 years. In a teaching situation I try and provide a relaxed and friendly environment in order to learn a students strengths and weaknesses. I want students to be able to learn at their own pace, and not to worry if they think they are

My experience speaks for itself. From Drum Corp to being on tour to studio work to theater shows there really is not much I haven't played or taught, I focus a lot on how to practice because not many people really know how to practice the right way to get the most out of their performance.
About Greg
The way I teach is a little different than most teachers. Not many teachers actually teach how to practice and that seems like it's the biggest setback for new and experienced students. My experience with being on tour and with Drum Corps and theater work and Studio work I have learned that there a
