So far, I have had only one lesson with Dr. M., the only singing lesson I've had in my entire 66 years of a lifetime. My only regret, is that I did not take them sooner. Dr M. is patient, an expert, and motivational. What more could you ask for when working with a teacher. He thinks he can make a singer out of me; I'll have to trust his judgement. It would be awesome, if he achieves our goal.

My son enjoys his music lessons with Jonathan, who is infinitely patient teaching what can be a challenging instrument. My son responds well to Jonathan's instruction, and he appreciates having access to a professional performer as a teacher. Jonathan encourages my son to learn a variety of music, including both challenging classical pieces and more recognizable popular and jazz pieces, which helps to sustain his interest in the lessons.

"I began taking on line Organ lessons with Stephanie in July of 2016. She is an excellent instructor. She makes you want to learn and do your best. She is very patient and explains things very well. She asks that you practice 20 minutes a day. Since she inspires you to improve and do your best, it is easy to practice longer than requested. She has brought joy back into my life through music. I am very grateful."

"I have been taking organ lessons from Mr. Raymond L. for a few months now. He has been nothing but friendly and patient. He is very understanding of difficult schedules, and is very accommodating when I need to change my scheduled lesson.

Raymond L. is also an excellent teacher, requiring perfection on the practiced piece before he will allow you to move on. I appreciate this, seeing that slipshod foundations will only harm me later on. Apart from the technical books, he also assigns a variety of pieces to practice on - allowing for the practice of the different techniques, as well as keeping things fresh and interesting."

3 Reasons Why Piano Players Should Also Learn the Organ

There are many reasons why a music student may find themselves learning to play piano on a keyboard rather than on a baby grand: cost, space, or simply lack of access, for example. Versatility on a range of keyboard instruments is also an extremely useful string for any pianist to have to their bow, and can lead to greater practice and public performance opportunities, and even excellent opportunities to earn a little money on the side. The organ, although not the most prevalent or popular musi …
