Tom is very patient with younger students that get distracted easily. One of my children is very interested in learning Irish folk music and Tom is great about helping him explore his interests in music. I love having lessons in home. It's very convient and allows me to keep my toddler entertained while my other children are doing lessons. Lessons are also affordable. I would definitely recommend Tom!

Lydia was wonderful! We had trouble getting a camera working first time, she was so patient. Building on the music base my daughter already had, she quickly zeroed in on what my daughter needs to work on. She looks forward to the next lesson. 😀

These pieces do not necessarily need to be memorized or performance-ready; the idea is to give Kristie an idea of what you already know and where you would like to grow.
*** Lesson Details *** For beginning piano students, Kristie uses the Faber method.

Kristie taught my son harp for 1.5 years before he left for college. He absolutely loved Kristie. She is patient, and makes the lessons interesting and engaging. She allows students to choose from a selection of music so that they learn how to play something they like. She encourages experimentation and engagement. My son wanted to learn the harp because it was interesting, not because he wanted to be a world class performer. Kristie really got that and made the lessons something he looked forward to every week. And she herself was a world class performer so if that's what you're looking for in a teacher, she can deliver that to. Kristie is a super teacher; my son still keeps in touch with her and says lessons with Kristie were one of the highlights of high school.

I was nervous walking into my first piano lesson, as I was COMPLETELY out of my element, though I knew that I had a passion to start learning. Kristie made me feel at home and reassured me that this was normal. She is extremely informative, and not only teaches you what you need to know, but explains WHY things are the way they are- which further developed my love for the music. Also, I have noticed that she is good at knowing where to start. She saw that I was picking it up quickly, so advanced quickly to challenge me more. Loved every lesson so far, and look forward to the future ones as well!!!!

We've had the best first time lessons experience with Kristie. She is knowledgeable, patient and extremely flexible. I especially appreciate the way she is able to reign in my seven year old's often wandering attention span. I look forward to continuing to work with Kristie in the future.
I hope to inspire, educate and connect your with your inner creative self. I use humor as starting a new instrument can be daunting. As a full time professional harpist and educator, I hope to give you the best musical experience possible.

My daughter has been taking lessons with Jessica for six years (since she was 7 years old) . Jessica immediately developed a rapport with her and put her at ease to focus on enjoying the harp. As an instructor, she is extremely patient and kind. Also, she teaches at her harp store so it is very convenient for instrument maintenance such as getting replacement strings. Most recently, she has gotten my daughter performance-ready for several competitions and auditions. What we most appreciate is Jessica providing opportunities to expand her world through harp.

I have a Master's in Music, Harp Performance from USC Thornton School of Music where I was the Assistant Harp Instructor for the duration of my studies. She chooses pieces that challenge me and has allowed me to chose from several different pieces/styles that I would enjoy learning, too. Liza is a wonderful and dedicated teacher. She his young, smart, patient and it is abvious to us that she cares and loves teaching harp. In the last few years, my daughter have had several teachers through out her piano and harp lessons, and I never seen her so excited before and after the her music lesson. She has been inspired and highly motivated from the first moment that she met Liza.
As a music teacher of over 10 years I take a fun but structured approach to learning the harp. I've taught all ages and I individually work with each student to help them learn the music that they want to and reach the goals that they set for themselves. I also have a large emphasis on hand position and help my students have the very best technique so they can play their very best. We will typically start with exercises and technique and then move to music. I will then send written individual feedback after the lesson to help remind the student of what we are working on. I hope to have the chance to share my love of music with you!
I am a harpist, pianist, arranger, composer, performer and lover of music. With over 12 years of experience teaching both piano and harp lessons. Although I graduated from Brigham Young University in Idaho with a Bachelors in visual communication, I have continued to stretch my skills as musician and teacher.
I perform frequently and love sharing my passion for the harp and piano through teaching so others can also experience having these beautiful instruments in their lives.
I teach piano and harp students of all different ages and experience levels, although I have an especially great love for teaching children and youth. I studied classical piano for over 12 years, and classic harp for over 11 years. A huge part of my music education was focused on theory and as a result I have a great love of having a strong foundation in musica
I strive to help my students develop a love music that can last throughout their entire life while still learning proper technique and theory. I try to help students set individual goals and then structure lessons to help these students reach each of their dreams.
Practicing can be hard for any student, but playing music you enjoy can help you stick with it. To inspire my students, I find or arrange music they both enjoy and that will help them progress. I've found that this not only motivates students but also adds an extra fun aspect to our lessons and practices.
My passion is sharing my love of music with those around me. Schedule your first harp lesson with me today!

"Jill is an amazing harp teacher! Because she is so positive, energetic and supportive, she has made learning to play the harp a wonderful experience for m
y daughters. She is able motivate my girls to practice and they look forward to their lessons each week. I asked my girls what their favorite things are about Jill. My 14-year-old said, “It is really obvious that she loves to play the harp. This makes me love to play as well because of her enthusiasm and example. She is really encouraging when I get frustrated.” My 12-year-old said, “She helps me find my weaknesses and thinks of ways to strengthen them. She also makes learning the harp a lot of fun.” We would highly recommend Jill as a music teacher!"
"Liann was so pleasant and knowledgeable. She helped my son with his audition music. We look forward to working with her again."

"We met Eleonora because my daughter wanted to learn how to play the harp. As a mother, I was pretty curious to see how Eleonora could manage to teach to a
4 years old how to read music notes and learn how to play the harp. With lots of patience and passion Eleonora created different solutions and succeeded in her goal. I was very surprised to see that after only two lessons my daughter was able to recognize several notes, after her third class she was able to play a short tune. It is thanks to Eleonora 's skills and passion that today my daughter plays the harp with great joy and is always excited about learning new things. Thank you Eleonora for making Carlotta' s dream come true!"
"Loved the lesson, Cindy kept my daughter engaged and made sure she was not overwhelmed."
