My son started with Keith on snare drum and absolutely loved the lessons so much he bugged me for a drum set constantly! Keith was very helpful in helping us to select a drum set and getting the best price. We found out that we have the #1 music merchant in the world right here in our town and they give Keiths students the best prices since he has sent them so many customers, so we saved an lot of money when it was time to buy a drum set. My son can't wait to get to his drum lesson every week

Keith is the best !!! I have had many drum teachers in my life but none with the patience and expertise that Keith demonstrates. He has played with many famous musicians and he gladly shares his experiences with you. None of my other local teachers have the knowledge or experience he has. I strongly recommend Keith to any student, Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. Plus you will have a good time !!!

Most genres of modern music can be taught; rock, metal, funk, blues, ect. There are several different books the student can choose to use to supplement the lessons.

For beginning drummers, I like to start with fundamentals and light theory, and certain physical exercises (which help make the limbs independent of each other). I also like to get the student to familiarize themselves with the instrument. I start of with easy rhythms on a drum pad (usually from a beginners percussion book), and slowly work up to working with a high-hat, snare, bass drum configuration. Once you're ready for the fun stuff, we can start incorporating easy songs you've always wanted to play, and then start moving the difficulty level up and up. All in all I try to combine the fun that comes with playing along to the songs you love, with a strong foundation of fundamentals and theory which will help you progress faster but with ease. For students that have already had some experience either percussive or ...

I believe it is important for a student to feel he/she is in a comfortable environment, which is why I tailor each lesson based on the student. I take into account not only n
atural talent and level of experience, but also progression and devotion. Whether the student is an adult looking to start a new and fun hobby, or a child with major aspirations to be come one of the greats, I can make sure either one gets the necessary instruction at a comfortable pace. For beginning guitarist, I begin by familiarizing the student with the instrument, and some very basic theory and tuning. We then move on to simple patterns to get those calluses on those finger tips. Then we start with chord charts and strumming rhythms. Followed by the fun stuff, which is actually playing a song. I am very open to my student's tastes and encourage them to bring in songs they would like to learn, because I when someone is familiar with a particular song, it can be almost as if your fingers naturally know what to do. I can teach both electric, classical acoustic, and steel acoustic guitars. For students who are further along, I like to assess their particular level first, and go on from there.

Fabio is a great teacher. I am learning music concepts as well as to play the guitar chords, riffs, for a huge variety of classic and newer rock songs. He is flexible and open to my requests or to go over areas that I need repeating. You will really enjoy being taught by Fabio. BTW he has a different hair cut now.

About Charles
Outside of teaching percussion and musical performances I have worked in special education for over 15 years.

My life of music started knee high at the age of 4 playing drums and piano. At the age of 15 I gave my first musical performance, from that stage on I knew my talent had found a home.

In the 11th grade I toured with a local funk group in Washington DC through 26 cities learning music and the life of travel at an early age. During my last high school and college years I performed extensively playing classical, jazz, rock, funk, go-go, gospel, marching band, R&B, and with local rap artist.

Recording credits and highlights include work with Def Jam artist Steady Eddy, recording go-go Mario with Double Agent Rock, and recordings with Little Benny and the Masters.

My other musical passion is teaching. Throughout my col
lege years and beyond I served as a percussion instructor and assistant band director at Morgan State University. As part of the Morgan State University Magnificent Marching Machine I served as a instructional leader in music and performance mentor for the team. I taught part time as a percussion instructor at Milford Mill High School giving individual lessons for over 10 years.

Musical inspiration is an important element to the refinement of my craft. A few personal musical influences are Buddy Rich, Max Roach, Neil Peart (Rush), Dennis Chambers, (Santana), George Gray (Roberta Flack), Ricky Wellman (Miles Davis), Quinton Mack-Davis (Rare Essence) and Michael Bland (Prince).

*** Lesson Details ***
Within the first three months of lessons student will gain a strong foundation of sight reading and basic drum techniques in both rudiment studies and playing the drum set. My style of teaching music consist of breaking each skill down into chunks and allowing students to learn using their individual learning styles. I utilize rewards for perfect practice and each lesson contains a safe, fun learning atmosphere with students exhibiting in their best behavior.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Lessons in store front studio, drum kit provided

*** Travel Equipment ***

Our son has never played in a marching band before but is interested in playing in the marching band when he attends college in July so we were specifically looking for an instructor who had marching band experience to teach our son since he's never participated in the marching band in high school. We saw Mr. Stewart's profile and decided to have him work with our son. That was the BEST decision that we could have ever made. We have been nothing but impressed with Mr. Stewart. He definitely has the gift of teaching and he is very patient, knowledgeable, and he challenges our son to get better by giving him homework after each session. Our son absolutely LOVES Mr. Stewart and he is always excited for each lesson and to practice what Mr. Stewart has taught him. Our son went from not playing in the marching band at all in high school to making his college band and receiving a scholarship all thanks to Mr. Stewart. We are very grateful for his outstanding teaching and we would definitely recommend Mr. Stewart 100%.

About Barbara
Singing is my life! I trained classically from 4/1972 - 4/83, then continued concentrated self study for 5 years. I sang for Voice of America and National Geographic Explorer specials before becoming voice coach for the MD Renaissance Festival. I have sung professionally since '83 and have taught voice since '86. Traditional methods are not enough to keep you singing healthily and successfully into your old age! At 68, I still tour and can sing infinitely without amplification. I want that for every student!

I began working with Barbara in 2013 for singing lessons and I have never looked back! I had never taken lessons before, so I had no idea what to expect. Barbara was and is wonderfully open, friendly and patient. She teaches you how to use your voice in a way that will not strain or hurt your voice, but train this "muscle" to work for you and all your vocal desires. I have been able to reach notes and achieve goals for myself vocally that I never expected. Bottom line: I would highly recommend Barbara for anyone wanting to grow their voice - for choir, for profession, or just for fun. Look no further!

No professional drummer is just a drummer. That's why I take a holistic approach to teaching drums. I hold a Bachelors in Music with a minor in Audio Production. So, my students will learn to play the drums in every contemporary style, but also they will come away with a working knowledge of music theory, songwriting, and music production. Having all these tools will not just make you a more valuable member of a band, but will allow you to make your own music when there are no other musicians around.

About Michael
I started playing drums at ten years old and came up through the indie music scene in the Bay Area playing in bands in high school. My teacher was adamant about the value of learning different styles, which is something that stuck with me through my years earning an AA in Drum Performance and then a Bachelors of Music from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Going to college for music not only gave me plenty of experience playing with some of the best musicians in the world, but it allowed me to explore Jazz, Latin, Funk, Blues, and a number of other styles with much more depth than I could have otherwise. Along the way I also learned music theory and audio production, taught myself guitar, and learned to write songs. I'm a big believer in developing multiple skills as a musician and teach all of aforementioned things in my lessons. I
not only gig as a drummer, but as a guitarist and singer. I also write, arrange, and produce my own music as well.

I can break down the fundamentals of drumming and show you how to construct simple to complex beats that will fit any musical opportunity thrown your way!

About Adrian
A great teacher or mentor or even friend can help shape one's life. I have had the great privilege to have been taught by some of the best and brightest musicians around the world and know first hand how mentors can awe one with infinite possibilities and opportunities that await in the world of sound. I only aim to give back some of this magic, and keep this wonder alive and spreading among everyone.

I have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old, producing music since I was 12 years old and have been actively involved in the recording and live music scenes of Las Vegas since the age of 14. I attended the Las Vegas Academy as a Guitar Major and recently graduated with my Associates of Business degree from CSN. I'm now 20 years old, and although that may seem young, I have a wealth of experience and knowledge that I would absolut
ely love to share with you. I can teach anything from guitar, bass, vocals, drums, some beginner piano, music theory, production and so much more.

To learn something, you must become obsessed with the craft- I've been obsessed with this craft since before my mind could even conceive what I was hearing! What better way to learn is there than to jump straight into the madness with someone (yours truly) who is already obsessed and constantly learning new things about all music and sounds?!

Let me help you realize and actualize the musical potential that you never knew you had!
