Highly recommend Ronen as a drum instructor! I recently started to take lessons for the first time at the age of 52. Ronen has made this experience so much fun. He is so knowledgeable, extremely patient and understanding. He balances each lesson with not only teaching technical skill but also the history of various drum techniques which makes it so interesting. He is a great teacher and it is a privilege to take lessons from him!

From the beginning I have felt that Alex is very invested in my success and like every great teacher, he challenges me. Alex's teaching style is a combination of teaching, observing and correcting technique, addressing mindset (really important), and wanting the student to feel the joy of discovering how to play real songs with every lesson. He is patient and encouraging, with just the right word at the right time. Combined with his vast knowledge of music, lessons and homework are packed with useful info that is broken down in a way that’s easy to understand. He also demonstrates how everything is applied through multiple musical styles,, so you can get a sense of the potential of your own playing in the future while broadening your musical horizons, which is a bonus.. You will get out of it only what you put into it, so regular practice is key otherwise it's easy to get behind. But Alex will adjust if something is not working, which is very motivating. Great teacher. Recommend 100%.

"I have my degree in music from Northwestern University, have been teaching for 2 decades, and I can say with confidence that Dan Leali is one of the best music teachers I have ever come across. He is not only an amazing seasoned performer, he is also extremely knowledgeable about subject matter and curriculum. Many drum teachers are self-taught or do not hold degrees in music. Dan has his degree in music from a great university and has played with some of the top musicians in the business.

He is a great communicator and instills confidence in his students. I have taken lessons from him, sent students to him and witnessed him teaching my own family members.

He is the only teacher I refer anyone to! Hands-down, he’s the best."
