Danilo is a really great drum teacher. Challenging, but also meets you at what ever level you're at. When limbs don't know how to rally together for a new thing, he's a very good cheerleader until it comes together or helps make it make sense to break through that wall. Enjoys good music too. Super recommend.

Great teacher. Fills me with confidence. Also it is awesome and inspiring to hear him play.

Danilo is great! He adjusts each weeks lesson to adapt to my needs. Patient, easy going, and very knowledgeable about what I need to work on and giving me exercises to work on between lessons. Highly recommend!

I am a well-rounded drum teacher, meaning I have learned and studied genres ranging from blues, jazz, rock and indie rock. I will give you tons of music to listen to and interpret and teach you how to learn tunes by ear. You will understand the forms of jazz tunes such as aaba Aba and abc. You will learn how to play the tunes you listen to and take the concepts of drum beats and drum rudiments used within them o make them your own and use them in your original playing. I also teach how to read standard drum notation, and can teach you how time signatures work and the values of notes if you don’t already know.

About Eli

Hi future students! I’m Eli. I know how tough it is to teach yourself an instrument, because I struggled with it for years and years. One of my biggest issues was learning how to practice, so if that’s something you struggle with, I can certainly help you develop a routine to which you would follow

After his first session, my son (10 years old) said Eli was, "really nice." They reviewed a lot, Eli asked a lot of questions about previous experiences and and listened to him play. Sounds like it was a packed session but not overwhelming.

Eli was great. He was very patient with my son during his very first music lesson. Eli made the lesson fun and enjoyable. My son enjoyed the lesson very much and is looking forward to his next one.

"Khalil is amazing! Hands down one of the best drum instructors I've ever had.

He is really thoughtful and has you work on both rudiments and time at the kit. He gives you clear instruction and guidance on material to practice each week.

If you're looking to grow and truly learn the drums I would go with Khalil. Definitely one of the best instructors in LA."

"Evan is a talented musician and a great teacher!
What I like about him is that he gave a great experience in music, in addition to the theories and techniques of drumming

He's talent gave me a great inspiration to get more interested in drumming and
especially the jazz. I am satisfied of the learning that I got so far, and I am excited for more experience that will come in the future."

"Fanstastic teacher for my 7-year-old little drummer!

We originally chose Jesse because we found out he could teach just about any instrument and my 7-year-old son wasn't sure about what he wanted to play. On the first class he tried the drums, and he never wanted to let it go. My son is a particularly challenging student because he is highly distractible, and Jesse was extremely patient and very organized/methodic with him, and therefore able to keep him on track. My husband plays in a band, and we both think Jesse is a super talented teacher who offers lessons with a great balance between fun and actual learning of good musical habits. In less that a month my son was feeling confident enough to play in front of the camera and send family members video samples of his new drummer self! We couldn't be happier."

"Danny is the best Drum teacher I have ever met. He is super patient and can get the kids playing really well. He did so good with one of my kids that I added another one and they both love playing the drums. Also his recitals are great and it gets the kids a chance to perform on a stage with an audience. I highly recommend Danny as a drum teacher."

"I've been taking drum lessons from Ray for about 3 years now. It's been a great experience, and I've learned so much from him. He makes sure to focus on what I specifically want to learn, which makes the lessons super fun. He's also knowledgable about all aspects of drumming, and he's really helpful whenever I have a question about anything. Without Ray, I never would have been able to come as far as I have these last few years."
