Songwriting Lessons in Oxford. Amazing Teachers.

I am extremely passionate about writing songs, and proud to be a Billboard international hit songwriter! Over the years, through working with some of the best writers in LA and in the business, I have developed key techniques and processes I love passing on! We will cover: How to hear a topline (melody), how to accompany your melody with chord progressions, how to say what you mean and strengthen your lyrics, originality, how to write what the industry is looking for, and so much more! The best part of this is that it's often a collaboration between myself and the client that helps pull the best possible song out of you!!

I have over 20 albums credited to my discography. "Experienced guitar teacher of over 25 years available for students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of music theory. I have written 6 Levels which have been modified over the years and produce results quickly. All material used to teach with is in pdf form and is easily explained. My goal is for you to be the best you can be.

I teach the basics of theory and have some great tools to make composing your own music easy - your creative mind, time spent in silence and imagination will do the rest!

Being a late beginner or intermediate/advanced piano/guitarist will pretty much be mandatory, unless you are a beginner and want to learn to play first. I can help anyone explore their creative abilities ... and at any level.

I bring to lessons an expansive education in music performance, theory, and composition in different styles, as well as the ability to explain and display the necessary skills in a variety of ways for a diversity of learning styles.

I teach an aggressive curriculum, but one that is tailored to each student's individual strengths and weaknesses, and I always remain gentle and patient while guiding my students through the rewarding process of learning to create music.
