Organ Lessons in New Bloomfield. Amazing Teachers.

I would highly recommend Tony Mitri as a voice and music instructor. My son takes lessons with Mr. Mitri and his progress has been astounding! He studies with other teachers previously without much success. My son has said he has learned more from Mr. Mitri than all of his previous instructors. He enjoys the lessons so he works harder at making progress and it shows. He helped him expand his range substantially, and increase his confidence. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in music of any kind. Mr.Mitri is awesome professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed.

you could tell that he not only was a good and patient teacher but that he was interested in well being and was exceptional in his creative approach to teaching! most definitely a 5 star teacher.

Mike taught Leo in person before the pandemic started and has been doing online lessons with him for the past eight months. He is amazing with both. Leo has a very short attention span, but a deep love for music. Mike has been able to hold Leo’s attention every week for over a year — even during online lessons. Leo has become an awesome little pianist, and has developed a love for the piano. It has given him the ability to express all of his feelings and has helped his attention span for his schoolwork. Mike has so much patience, and always inquires about Leo’s favorite activities. He is great with kids and makes them feel so comfortable. Leo loves his “booming voice” and the free play blues music they get to play together every lesson.

Jonathan is very very patient and has all the skills to train everyone. I will recommend to everyone who needs to know, study and enjoy the excitement in playing piano, guitar and singing .

He has a good ear and can help quickly with transcriptions. More importantly, he also gave some practical advice.

My son enjoys his music lessons with Jonathan, who is infinitely patient teaching what can be a challenging instrument. My son responds well to Jonathan's instruction, and he appreciates having access to a professional performer as a teacher. Jonathan encourages my son to learn a variety of music, including both challenging classical pieces and more recognizable popular and jazz pieces, which helps to sustain his interest in the lessons.

Very passionate about piano and able to convey ideas.. also very good at feeling out what student is seeking to achieve. Definitely recommend Paul if you are wanting to take playing piano as a serious endeavor

My experience with this teacher was horrible. Paul has no patience for a child that might not pay attention as much as necessary. He has forgotten what it is to be a child or how to win over a child and make a lesson fun.
My child had one previous lesson with Paul. It is true that she was not following his directions and his frustration was quite obvious.
On my second visit I was appalled by Paul’s behavior. Again my child wouldn’t sit down on the bench correctly. Verbatim this what occurred next, I quote: “This is not going to work out. Get out of my house NOW, NOW!(Screaming, like I was going to prolong this). I have better things to do than waste my time with your daughter. I don’t want to take your money.

It is true that my daughter can be difficult when approached in an authoritarian manner. However, my daughter is not yet six and Paul brought my daughter to tears. Surely this behavior was at best inappropriate and says more about the person Paul is than about my daughter. A simple “ May I have word with you in private” would be a mature way to part company. Not throwing a 6 year out of your house because you are frustrated. I was horribly offended by his manner and attitude. No way to treat a 6 year old.

This man has no patience with young kids. I would stay away from this teacher unless your child has some experience with piano. Definitely not child friendly.
Normally I do not post reviews unless something extraordinary happens This is one of those: extraordinarily bad.
An apology is in order if this poor excuse for a “teacher” has any understanding of the unnecessary hurt he has caused.

Lawrence has a fantastic personality and is very knowledgeable and patient. I very much look forward to taking more lessons with him.

Very personable and seems to be a good fit with our 6 year old. Were looking forward to our next lesson.
