I'm a senior citizen that still works. I played some other instruments when I was younger and always wanted to play piano and Michael has motivated me to continue to learn and fit my practice into my work schedule. Anyone who wants to learn to play an instrument should look no further then Michael.

My lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of each student. If a student is involved in school music ensembles, we will work with their lesson books from school in addition to material outside of the books, including SmartMusic, Noteflight, and teacher-created materials. We will focus on building proper tone production and individual technique - something that often is difficult to learn in a large ensemble setting.
I am capable of starting a beginner student on any band instrument including percussion, any classical string instrument (violin, viola, cello, string bass), and piano. I can begin a student on drum set and work with them through their first method book, but I would then recommend they find a specialized drum set teacher after a period of six to twelve months.
For advanced students, I work from selected conservatory etude books on developing advanced skills and can work with students on audition pieces for honors bands/orchestras or college auditions.
My lessons are a half-hour once a week, with the option of working for 45 minutes or 60 minutes.
*** Specialties ***
music, band, orchestra, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, violin, viola, cello, string bass, piano, Percussion

I am a Trombonist from Sacramento California looking forward to helping a student of any age learn the Trombone, piano, music theory, or other basic musicianship concepts. I have been playing for eleven years and I am currently finishing my degree in Music Education/Performance in Sacramento.
About Kevin
I can tutor students struggling to learn Music Theory on any level as well. This could be any musician on any instrument who wants a better understanding of music theory. This includes students studying for an AP music theory test, people who want to compose their own music, and people who want a better understanding of music, such as how to read music and recognize different harmonies.

I have been teaching music for over 10 years. I am a strong believer in making sure my students have strong fundamentals. The stronger your fundamentals the easier it is to play the way you want to play. I have a lot to offer a student that goes far beyond playing the instrument. I have a lot of experience helping students learn how to deal with performance anxiety and learn music theory.
About Jeremy
I believe that students need to feel free to make mistakes. When students feel comfortable it is easier for them to focus on getting better and are much more receptive to feedback.
I currently play euphonium for the Philadelphia Wind Symphony. I have also performed professionally for several musicals including West Side Story, Pirates of Penzance, and Animal farm. My previous performance experience includes being principal trombone of the Audubon Symphony Orchestra, principal euphonium for the Michigan City Municipal Band, and performing a solo work with the IUSB Wind Ensemble.
My main specialty lies with classical trombone but I also have plenty of experience with jazz music.
