Attacking the students aspirations and goals of their personal requests to the trainer, and getting to know the client and where they would like to see themselves in a limited time of training so the clients money and time isn't left in the mud! We will play and organize our curriculum through music and melody, with a counted rhythm to the beat we are attacking. Listening to our favorite songs is a good way to learn how to play an instrument, it gives a familiar count and sound that we can connect to! Music is simple but fun so our sessions will always revolve around repetitive lessons ,BPM , counting, rhythm, and listening to many many songs and playing them!

I have over thirty years of experience teaching students of all ages and abilities. My youngest student is seven and my oldest student is seventy six. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music and have years of experience playing with jazz, rock, funk and country groups as well as playing shows for touring acts. With a long background in music, but not drums, I studied with Rich for four years and would be still were it not for unrelated physical issues.
There's no one I could recommend more highly, as a drum teacher...as a person. Studying with Rich is not only drum education, it's enjoyable.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

He recently filmed a virtual duet with my son and showed him some videos of different types of drumming to engage him more in the experience of drumming.
He's also been great at communicating with me about homework assignments, suggesting supplies and ways we can support my sons learning.
It's been a great experience working with Kevin."

Casey is an awesome teacher! Our 10 year old daughter looks forward to her drum class, having fun while learning.. Somehow He manages to handle the craziness of teaching a young child online keeping the students attention with ease. We are really glad we found him."

Casey is an amazing teacher. I have ZERO musical talent and Casey had me playing songs within a week. He makes learning fun and very easy. He is very knowledgeable not to mention a pretty sick drummer.
I started taking drum lessons just to check it out... and I keep coming back to learn more.
If you want a very relaxed and good time while learning to play. Casey is your guy."

My son has been taking drum lessons from Mike for about 6 years consistently. Mike is an amazing instructor and all around great person. My son has learned so much from Mike, enjoys going to his lessons every week(the ONLY activity that he has done that there is NO complaining about going to lessons, only enthusiasm). He has grown leaps and bounds with his level of drumming, all due to Mike. Mike's studio is high tech, his teaching ability and knowledge of all kinds of genres of music and general positive encouragement and attitude make Mike the best drum instructor. He is a great role model for my son, as well. You can't go wrong with Mike!"
