Reading the detailed "About" section below should give an aspiring singer all the information relevant as to how and what I teach, with regard to vocal performance and technique. I was classically trained as a vocalist, and from that training I was able to incorporate the various musical nuances necessary to navigate the world of Classical Voice. I personally feel that a singer trained classically, can cross over into other genres with relative ease, should that be their desire. You will learn the foundation to controlled singing. To capsulize my mission statement as an instructor: You WILL be a better vocalist AND performer. THIS I GUARANTEE!!

Gain a bright but legit sound and more vocal range. Will be asked to learn other genres along with classical songs to enhance voice (stamina/range) and musicality.

I will give my students/pupils, a realistic view of the operatic world and operatic career, though my own experience in the business, for over more than 30 years, based in a strong Bel Canto Technique.

Unique breathing and vocal techniques, vocal warm-ups, phrasing, coloring the vowels, diction, etc.

I want to teach you how to shine! With over 10 experience in teaching, my goal is to make you as comfortable as possible with your instrument. Singing is about finding YOUR voice. It's there. We all have one. Let me help you take control of your voice so that you can share it with others confidently.
I studied voice under Florence Birdwell at Oklahoma City University. I spent five years on the road touring with Broadway shows. As a singer/songwriter, I've opened for Jewel, The Steve Miller Band, and many others.
