Simple practical methods for understanding and developing the fundamental skills needed to play songs you love and want to perform are the focus of each lesson. About Brian

I've been working with Brian for four months now and have made excellent progress on guitar. Brian quickly adjusted to my experience level and has done an outstanding job of removing long-standing bad habits and reinforcing the good ones. He has a fresh approach which ensures students don't get bored and, best of all, instills confidence and a good stage presence. I'm on my way to being a better guitar player but more importantly, a better musician. I recommend Brian without reservation.

Acoustic or electric, guitar or bass, beginner and beyond! I am a full-time singer-songwriter who has been playing guitar since 2002.

The best part that my students love is that I am left-handed- when I am showing them something on the guitar, it is like a mirror image for a right handed student, making it very easy to follow along with the exercise!

My lessons are custom tailored to my students according to what they are interested in working on. These lessons are done online, so no travel is involved.

All styles and age groups are taught!

About Joe

Hello and congratulations for seeking an instructor to teach you to play a musical instrument! The power of music simply cannot be put into words, and you are embarking on a journey to harness and share that amazing experience with the world. I am a full-time musician who loves to share my passion

We have had 4 or 5 lessons now with Michael and with each one, my 9 year old son learns so much. I'm amazed at the pace at which he is moving; Michael had him playing a song after his first lesson. We sometimes do lessons at Michael's location and other times on Skype. My son really likes Michael and he wants to work hard and keep learning. I highly recommend guitar with Michael.

Every musician has their own voice in this world. I want to work with you to mold and develop that voice with solid fundamentals and understanding of how music works. Caleb has taught me so much in only five lessons! I now can play 4 songs that I love, and I'm getting a great refresher course on music theory. He's super patient and sets very realistic expectations. I really like that he cared to ask me what songs I liked and would like to learn instead of starting with generic songs like 'twinkle twinkle' because it gave me more motivation to practice and learn. I can't wait to learn more!

"Lucian will listen to whatever it is that you want to learn and give you all the building blocks to play how you want to play and explore your options on the neck in many different ways. I am a intermediate guitar player and within a few lessons with Lucian I was given tools to work on and practice for months to improve my skills and technique/ approach to playing. I would recommend his lessons to ANYONE looking to improve!"

5 Ways To Prepare For Bluegrass Guitar Lessons

Starting bluegrass guitar lessons is fun and exciting, and odds are you'll have a lot to learn! Guitar teacher Samuel B. shares a few things you'll want to do before you get started... Bluegrass is as much a piece of American musical culture as jazz, blues, country, gospel and early rock and roll. All of these styles (save for jazz) are based on the same three chords: C, F and G7th. Three of these styles (blues, country and gospel) are based on a slow rhythm that allows the guitarist room to …
