Although I'm a fairly new learner, I chose Robert as a teacher because he teaches everything from beginner to advanced. I'm glad I did -- his depth of knowledge is clear and he understands my questions quickly and can answer from different angles to make sure I understand. After just two lessons I feel like I've gained a lot already and am excited to continue learning.

My 9 year old daughter really liked Robert.  She started from scratch and learned new skills, many notes and a couple of songs in 2 1/2 hours of lessons.  She told me he was really nice and I was impressed with her progress.  He was very easy to work with and was always prompt to the lessons.

He answered all my questions before I had to even ask them without talking down to me at the same time even though I’m a beginner. Loved it and can’t wait for more!

The first lesson was excellent.  Robert has a great relaxed style.

Robert has been teaching my 11-year old son electric guitar for the last few months and has done a brilliant job. My son loves his lessons and is inspired to practice and learn more. Robert works with my son's song choices and is amazingly patient and supportive. He is also an outstanding mentor for a young musician!

Robert is amazing! He is remarkably patient, encouraging, thoughtful, and generous. He is also quick to think of all kinds of fixes to advance your progress. He wears his encyclopedic knowledge lightly, and his lessons are always fun. I would recommend him with great enthusiasm for any stringed instrument!
