Whether it’s getting your right hand alternating thumb pattern down, getting flat picking accurate and speedy, or learning to improvise over Bluegrass Standards, I can help.

I'm 30 years old and I have been playing music of all kinds since I was 15. I practiced 3 years before I actually played with anyone and once I did I learned so much more. Simple practical methods for understanding and developing the fundamental skills needed to play songs you love and want to perform are the focus of each lesson. I have over twenty years of teaching experience with beginners and advanced students and have developed a curriculum that really works for all levels and styles while keeping things fun!

Hello and welcome! I started teaching guitar lessons after school in 6th grade to fellow students and our teachers alike. From the very beginning, my ethos has been centered around striving to serve the individual and helping them to achieve their goals. I've only become more passionate about that over the course of almost 20 years of teaching and I look forward to working with you!

I have been a touring and studio musician as well as a musical director and record producer for over ten years on electric and acoustic guitar, pedal steel, bass guitar and singing. I'm passionate about teaching YOU, not just teaching notes or chords or licks. Everyone learns differently and I look forward to creating for you what all of my amazing teachers have created for me over 25 years of learning: a safe space to let your guard down, be who you are and work your hardest to be your best.
