An experienced guitar player of 15 years. Especially good with beginners including both very young and older students. It's never too early or late to start playing! Will cater a specific personal lesson plan to your desires to make sure we move at YOUR best pace. We'll build a solid foundation so that you can learn how to teach yourself and continue to grow and love music long after these lessons. We can get you up and running with your favorite tunes or start delving into the musical theory side of things. I make sure that our lessons are fun but also challenging and I make sure we spend some time learning how to build finger strength, how to improvise, and (most importantly) how to play with other musicians!

Lessons will be customized to meet the needs of the students. I have five years of teaching students from ages five to fifty and over twenty years of experience as a musician. Students will learn core music essentials such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and more. And for songwriters I offer lessons on songwriting and structuring.

Open and individualized lessons will teach each student in a unique fashion to fit them best. Chords, theory and musical reading will be the main focus of these lessons. My individualized approach works well for many students so that they learn what they want, how they want, and see the results that they specifically are looking for.

Students can expect to learn anything from basic chords to advanced theory and improvisational techniques on their instrument.

I am a professional gigging blues/rock/indy musician with a strong understanding of jazz and blues guitar. I have toured while playing both modern and styles of blues and recently graduated college with some emphasis on blues/jazz guitar. I have spent the last 8 years of my life dedicated to my specialization in blues guitar and have a complete mastery over blues guitar and improvisation.
