Tuba Lessons in Erie. Amazing Teachers.

I am a current band director focused on your student's mastery and success on the tuba. We will work on tone, range, and develop technique through a tailored lesson that will fit you or your student. I am also happy to supplement your child's band instruction and work on area/region honor band auditions with your child.

I have been playing the tuba for over 20 years! During this time, I competed in the Leonard Falcone Tuba and Euphonium Festival solo competition and the International Tuba and Euphonium Conference solo and quartet competitions several times. I also won a brass scholarship competition--the Paul I. Willwerth Brass Scholarship Competition--during my undergraduate studies, and have taken the time to solidify what is of the utmost importance to me as a musician, which is--not surprisingly--to make music!

Now I get to play tuba every day, both for fun and to earn a living. With lots of hard work, if this is something you want to do it is certainly possible!

As a part of my music education certification, I am trained to teach beginner levels in all brass instruments.

I teach absolute beginners, intermediate and advanced students. I work with them on technique, strong fundamentals, sound production and the repertoire of band and orchestra music.
