I like to make learning an instrument fun and easy to fit into your schedule!

If you're an adult finally getting around to learning your dream instrument or a child following your passion of playing music I tailor your lessons specifically to you. We look at what you want to play, pick specific songs that you want to learn, and learn the techniques you need to play these songs. It sounds simple, but it's so effective and much more fun to learn this way!

About Grant

Hi!

I'm Grant!

And it would be my pleasure to be your music instructor.

I teach all of the fretted string instruments:
Guitar | Banjo | Mandolin | Bass | Ukulele

I structure my lesson plans specifically around what you want to learn and how you want to learn it. We will go as slow or fast through the material as you'd like, focusing on playing songs and the techniques needed to get there.

If you have any questions for me, hit the "Ask Grant A Question" button above.

Cheers!

My first online lesson with Grant was really great. I’m extremely rusty so I was basically starting to learn again from scratch, and Grant was super patient and fun! Looking forward to my next lesson.

If I could give Brian 10 stars, I would. He is enthusiastic, present, supportive and highly knowledgeable. Learning instruments has always been a challenge for me , but Brian makes being a banjo beginner an absolute joy. I look forward to practicing every day, and can really hear my progress - which amazes me because it's only been just over a month. I can see myself working with Brian for the long haul. He puts me at ease, and always gives great responsive tips that improve my playing immediately. I feel SO lucky to have stumbled across his profile.

Want to play your favorite songs? Want to write your own? While focusing primarily on technique and theory, we'll also spend at least part of each lesson being creative together, whether improvising, or writing something, or just playing a game, because I believe that to be a well-rounded musician is to know how to communicate one's own ideas fluently. We'll also explore a variety of styles, including rock, country, pop, folk, and jazz, and we will learn songs both using a pick and using the fingers. I can also teach students to actually read music and not just tablature, if they're interested in exploring jazz and classical music. Message me today to see if we'd be a good match!

About Kyle

I am a professional violinist, violist, guitarist, pianist, and educator. In addition to recording and touring with my own bands, I regularly arrange and record strings for artists and producers in a wide range of styles, from underground rappers to indie rock bands to grammy winning pop producers. I studied classical viola and composition at Temple University's Boyer School of Music, and have also studied at the Montreal Conservatory and IRCAM in Paris. I currently teach about 35 students a week ranging in ability from beginner to advanced, and ranging in age from 4 to 64. My versatility, experience, and formal training ensure a fun and engaging learning experience, catered towards what YOU want to learn (with some suggestion/encouragement from me of course).

I've studied classical viola for 13 years, with some training in bluegrass

and old-time too. I've also received training in jazz and rock guitar, and have been trained in the Taubman Method on piano, allowing me to teach my students to play with confidence and ease, without fear of injury later on.

Students can expect to receive top notch training in technique and theory. All students will also receive training in improvisation in a variety of styles, so that they can not only play and understand other people's music, but create their own too. Students interesting in writing/recording will also have the opportunity to write and record a song with me, and learn all my best tips and tricks along the way!

Some styles I regularly give lessons in: Rock, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Punk, Indie Rock, and Blues.

I personally have not had a guitar lesson from Jameson, I'm a drummer myself, but I wanted to say what I know. I've seen this fella play many, many times, and I know those that taught him when he was younger. He is an excellent guitar player and a super good dude. He comes from a long line of musicians and educators in his family. I'm certain he would be an excellent choice as someone from whom to take lessons.

I teach with a passion that builds enthusiam, creativity and dreams. If you are wanting to learn to play guitar, bass, percussion and many other disciplines we have the perfect teacher for you at an affordable rate. Not only do I teach lessons at my studio but I have created an online system to teach anyone remotely. If you are at work and need a creative lunch break I can schedule that lesson. If you are under the weather and at home yet still want to learn, the online lesson can accomodate - you don't even have to reschedule!

My name is Joel. I love music, but more than that, I love seeing the bulb turn on in someone's eyes when they discover their musical talent. Of course they light up. Musical success is fun, rewarding and life changing. Come to my studio to find what sparks your musical passion. Choose from acoustic, electric or bass guitar, percussion, dulcimer, ukelele, didgeridoo or even crafting your own pedalboard design.

About joel

My name is Joel. I love music, but more than that, I love seeing the bulb turn on in someone's eyes when they discover their musical talent. Of course they light up. Musical success is fun, rewarding and life changing. i teach a number of disciplines in music:. Choose from acoustic, electric or bass guitar, percussion, dulcimer, ukulele, didgeridoo or even crafting your own pedal board design.

Over the years I have learned so many techniques and teaching styles that I have been able to create curriculum uniquely suited for everyone from beginners to veterans to achieve their music dreams.
I have learned that hardline traditional curriculum can suck the love of an instrument right out of the heart -- and fast. That can be devistating. Although playing any instrument takes diligent practice, excitment and passion are key. I could nev

er stand by and watch someone loose their love of playng an instrument. My talent lies in catching the spark, flaming the fire and watching it burn.
I have a business degree from Texas Tech University, but have been a professional musician for over 25 years. I have been playing music since I was a small child. Starting with piano lessons and then moving on to percussion. After years of working out my youth on the drums, I finally found my home inside the sound of an acoustic guitar.
I am passionate about pursuing the gift God has given to me. I love opening up new worlds of musical learning and performing for students of all ages. The best part comes when I can stand back and watch my students rock out confidently with smiles on their faces. Oh, and that light-- the light in their eyes -- you can't miss it. It's magnificent.
I love to teach/play with everyone:
The 5-year-old whose mommy wants him/her to learn to play an instrument
The preteen who is exploring his/her talents and wants to find that spark
The teenager who really just wants to rock out or play it cool
The college student who wants to learn folk, song writing and how to function as a part of a band
The career driven folks who need a lunch break worth a darn
And retirees who want to prove that an old dog can always learn new tricks.

I am proficient in many different styles of music including Jazz, Rock, Country, Pop, Funk, Alternative, and Modern Christian music. I play guitar at the live broadcast campus of Bayside Community Church, was in a jazz band, and currently play in an alternative band as the lead guitar player. I took 6 years of private lessons focusing on music theory and how it can be applied to guitar and bass. I am in college and have taken multiple music theory courses at the college level.

About Logan

I'm a very passionate musician and I'd love to teach anyone who has any interest in guitar or bass. Whatever your skill level, I'm eager to help you either start your journey as a musician or help you reach the next rung on ladder. I play electric guitar at the live broadcast campus of Bayside Community Church, a small gigging alternative band, and I previously played in a jazz band. I have taken private lessons for the last six years that focused on the application of music theory to guitar and bass.

"I had the pleasure of having Adam instruct me the basics of acustic country guitar for a few months. By the end of the lesson , I was able to play three s
ongs from start to finish and was really happy about that! Adam is patient and skilled and I would definitely book him again for another session."

"Jordan was very helpful right from the start. He listened to me on where I am at and where I want to be. He showed me a few things that we will work towar
ds and then helped me understand my instrument much better. Gave me some fun new things to practice before the next lesson. If you're looking for a lesson that is interactive and fun I recommend Jordan and the online thing is supper easy and handy. I don't think it could have gone any better. The lesson was 45 minutes and it felt like 10."

"I've been working with Ahmad for a little more than 2 years. I'm one of those folks that had the intention to learn guitar for many years, but never got
over the hump. The Summer that I started taking lessons with Ahmad, it really took off for me. He's fantastically talented and skilled, but he makes it clear that his abilities came with a ton of work, and he gives you a system to get the best results out of your own practice time. He'll work with you on any song, and seems to have a taste for just about any genre of music (especially if its got some good guitar). He'll teach you some theory and get you to read music, but patiently diet this out while recognizing your excitement to learn songs (at least, this is what I'm putting him through, and I imagine others would to). He'll give you practical drills for learning scales, chords, rhythm, etc., and find ways to overlay them so you can start to stitch things together. "Putting it all together" is still a work in progress for me, but I've been pretty happy with the results over the past 2 years, and I've iteratively "ratcheted up" my expectations for where it can all go, heavily due to Ahmad's encouragement. I hope to keep getting lessons from him for a long time!"

"Francesca is a wonderful teacher! She's very knowledgeable but shares that knowledge in a way that's easy to understand. I've been an amateur musician f
or over forty years and I've read a lot of books and watched a lot of videos. None of them explained the concepts we went over during our class as clearly and simply as Francesca. In fact, one of the things she explained had been staring me in the face for twenty or more years! She pointed it out and I had a "duh!" moment! She also has a great way of putting a student at ease and making you feel comfortable with her right away. It didn't feel like our first lesson together. Thank you, Francesca!"

"Playing the guitar has been on my bucket list for a long time and I finally started taking lessons. I am so happy my first try was with Ahmad. I have been
with Ahmad about a year and half, maybe more. Ahmad has so much knowledge and experience I get a really deep instruction from him, from chord formation and music theory and primarily practical practice learning my favorite songs.
Ahmad is relaxed and kind and that goes along way too."

"I have been taking guitar lessons with Ahmad Since 2011. Music has always been important to me and my lessons with Ahmad have been a continual source of i
nspiration and joy. I love Ahmad's musical philosophy and regardless of what I'm interested in he is always able to help me better myself. I continue to be very busy in my life but always find myself coming back to music. Through taking lessons with Ahmad I have been able to achieve many of my musical goals and know that if I keep practicing I will be able to achieve even more of my goals.

Ahmad is extremely talented, intelligent, and friendly and is always there to support me in whatever new musical concept I wish to learn next. He can help anyone looking to better themselves in a wide variety of areas regardless of the style of music you are interested in. I have been studying country and jazz with him primarily, as my goal is to be able to write my own music and put together a band some day. I have no intention of stopping music lessons with Ahmad as they continue to be something I look forward to every week. Anyone would be lucky to have such a great teacher."
