Welcome to my Guitar, Bass Lesson, and Clarinet page. I can provide you with professional, quality, and affordable lessons. I'm very passionate about music, the guitar and bass, and love teaching! I am a Masters Degreed Educator who has been teaching for over 20+ years. I can provide you with lessons on proper technique, music theory, chords, scales, songwriting, and more. I currently teach with Guitar Center/Music Arts in the local area but I am looking for more students to fill out my schedule.

I offer lessons in Guitar for all levels, having 5+ years of teaching experience and 12 in music education. I've taught children from 7 years old to adults 60+ from many different backgrounds, and my lessons are always structured the same way: To serve your needs, your goals and allow you to enjoy the process of learning.

I began playing when I was 11, and I find that for any beginner, it's important to start with material that gets instant "musical" sound from the guitar. This consists on learning the chords to your favorite songs, some easy riffs or melodies, and dicovering the path you want to take on the instrument. Once you get more advanced, technical aspects like music theory and how to use it creatively take a more important role in the lessons. For advanced players, I will find your strengths and weaknesses, and we will work on maintaining those strengths while slowly improving on the weaknesses, which may be technical, theoretical or even psychological. welcome to the fantastic folk music of southern spain! as a flamenco student you will learn about the people, history, and styles of flamenco. this music is very accessible to new and intermediate students and stands out as a style that many people are unaware of and impressed by.

these techniques and pieces come directly from spain and will sound authentic, should you ever pursue studies abroad. each week you will be given material, which is graded from beginner to advanced, and will be practiced each week.
