Country Guitar is one of my specialties..

About Matthew
Hi.. My name is Matt. I'm a very energetic, friendly, understanding & passionate music coach who has worked with students & clientele throughout the US. Possessing more than 30 years of music training & music industry experience, I've been able to take people's Playing to amazing levels.

I've networked or shared the stage with many famous NW music legends:
1.) Roger Fisher- Heart-2013 Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame Inductee
2.) 2019 - I'm the Pacific NW Guitarist for Rudy Parris from NBC TV's "The Voice!" - Go Team Blake!
3.) Lynn Sorensen- Paul Rogers/Bad Co/KZOK's Spike & Impalers
4.) Donny Evola - Geoff Tate/Former Queensryche/Foghat
5.) Jeff Kathan- Paul Rogers/Bad Company/Montrose
6.) Doug Mcgrew- Geoff Tate/Former Queensryche Singer/Operation Mindcrime

In fact everyone I've mentioned above are pro all the way and great guy
s as well. I"m honored to have played with them.

I challenge my students to view music more than just as a "skill", but also a tool to communicate effectively and to combat life's obstacles.

I have had many guitar teachers myself including one true Famous Rock Star legend here in Pacific NW. Congrats Rog. U Earned It, & inspire myself, & others everyday.

You got to know the rules 1st, before you can then break the rules. This is how you develop your own unique style. And it's what separates the Pro Players from the rest of the pack.

But even if you don't want to play professionally, maybe you just want to learn a few chords, licks, songs, for yourself, or to impress friends. That's okay too!

I welcome every level and style. I always learn something from my students.
That's what music is all about. Learning & trading tips and licks from other musicians.

Bottom Line Is... I can help you learn and progress on your instrument faster...

Let me be the Music Coach to get you there!

Playing country music is blast. My favorite artists to teach are Vince Gill, Willie Nelson Emmylou Harris and Chet Atkins, but I teach contemporary country music as well. We’ll go style specific rhythm and lead playing, how to play your favorite country riffs and full songs and for more advanced students, we’ll learn whole solos and Chet Style tunes. Happy pickin’!

About Henry
I perform and teach guitar professionally. Music is my passion and I love to learn new music and help others learn it as well. I currently specialize in teaching classical guitar with a focus on building strong technique, ear training, and practical applications for using formal and contemporary music analysis skills.

I also love playing jazz and various styles of pop music. I try to bring a similar approach to teaching these as I do in my classical teaching. I want to work on answering questions the music asks of the performer; like how would you play a Country Swing song versus a Jazz Swing song, how would you approach a contemporary Spanish Guitar Suite versus a Baroque Guitar Suite, or how would you play a Taylor Swift song versus a John Mayer song.

I'm flexible with my teaching style and can help you reach your goals.

About Vitaly
I’m a Theatre Major from UCSD. I've studied music since my early teens, and have played and performed for over a decade. I love music, and I love creating art. If you’re looking for a by the book instructor (here follow the instructions in your music book) I’m probably not a good fit. Music is fun and should be taught that way. But that does not mean you shouldn’t learn the foundation of good technique and how to master those skills. I enjoy teaching as much as I do playing or performing. That is why I do it. I have a fluid teaching approach based on my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE with an emphasis on improving technique, musicianship and a “truth is love approach” to ensure musical improvement within the first two weeks of lessons! I sincerely believe creating music should be a joyful & fulfilling experience and one that will be a positive change in someone’s life (as it has been for mine). I teach all genres of music on multiple instruments and specialize in audition preparation, real-life gig preparation and musical mastery. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations, while having a good time doing something that they love.

About Wade
I am a GRAMMY Nominated educator, trumpeter, guitarist, bassist, pianist, singer/songwriter, composer/arranger, drummer and recording artist. I graduated from University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor’s of Arts with a concentration in Jazz Studies and the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a Master’s in Jazz Studies, specifically in trumpet. I am currently Director of Instrumental Music at Olney Central College and Linclon Trail College and have taught at Vincennes University in the past.

I work with brass players, improvisors, singers, guitarists/bassists, pianists, drummers & songwriters/producers/composers in a wide age & stylistic range and assorted skill levels with a variety of musical goals. I can teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play contemporary music
using chord sheets, or both depending on the goals and preference of the student. My versatility, experience and formal training helps me to make the learning experience easy, stress free and fun. I can help any student to play or sing with freedom, confidence, and expression.

As a professional recording artist I have frequently taken trips to New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and many more cities for co-writing, recording, gigging and meeting with record labels. I have worked with well-known artists like Bootsy Collins (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), Philip Paul (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), Leroy Parnell (Country Music Legend), Marshall Jones (Original Bassist for Ohio Players), Liz Mandeville (Chicago Blues Hall of Fame), and Pinetop Perkins (GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award Winner). I love to mentor students who want to become effective, dynamic and versatile musicians.

My personal passion is jazz, blues and soul music but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!

Wade is an incredible instructor. He is extremely passionate about his craft which is evident in the way that he teaches his students. He pushed me to be a better musician and I knew that I was receiving high-quality instruction. I would recommend him to anyone. I would take lessons with him again in a heart beat.

Wade Baker was a great trumpet instructor. One thing I noticed and liked a lot from the moment I met him was that he connected with his students to create a better musical experience. Only good things came out of my lessons and rehearsals with him. I was only under his instruction for a year, but I grew a lot as a player with the help from him and also learned more about music than I ever did before. Wade is a very experienced player in multiple genres of music and he makes sure to use all of what he learned to teach his students. The only downside to being under his instruction was how busy he could be at times, but as a musician myself I completely understood. I would recommend Wade to anyone with how great my experience was with him.

Take guitar lessons with a Berklee College of Music graduate! All levels welcome! I will help you reach any goal whether you want to play professionally or just want to learn your favorite song. I have a strong background in music theory and have learned both Jazz and Classical theory from some of the best professors and musicians in the world. My favorite thing as a teacher is to dissect a student's favorite song and show them the "how" and the "why" of the song. What makes it sound so good? It's so gratifying to see a student use a concept that I've explained to them from their favorite song and reuse it in their own way to make their own music. I can't wait to work with you and watch you flourish as a musician!

I can teach you the fundementals of each and how to use your ear and instincts to become a fluid street smart player.

About Jason
Hi there future 6 stringer! I was a rocker metal head through high school and became interested in all the diverse styles the guitar could do and therefore branched out to Jazz, classical, country, blues and pop. Still a rocker at heart but I know have the training through many instructors and a degree from Berklee College of music to add the depth and scope to my shred ability.

I have taught guitar for 8 years now and still love doing it. I like to teach the theory behind things not just tell you where to put your fingers. My goal is to make you a strong intuitive player that can play from the heart as well as the mind. Let me help you on your way to greatness.
