I'm a very laid back guy but I take my playing seriously. music is my life and there's nothing I enjoy sharing and expressing more. I learned to love playing guitar when I was 12 from the coolest guitar teacher ever. he had a vibe that i gravitated toward and encouraged me in just the right ways to get me believing in myself. I try to encourage my students the same way. music should be fun above all and sculpt my lessons to each students individual needs so that they are better equipped to succeed.

About Dylan
I am an Ableton Certified Music Producer and Graduate of Dubspot Electronic Music School with a degree in DJing and Music Production. I also have a Bachelors Degree from San Diego State University. I am currently a resident DJ for OMNIA San Diego & Hakkasan group as well as an Internationally Touring DJ. I have performed at over 300 nightclubs, music festivals, and events worldwide alongside artists like The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, Dillon Francis, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Steve Aoki, & many more.
Aside from my DJ career, I have a ton of experience teaching and working with children. I have always enjoyed teaching people and helping them to reach their goals. I started out at a young age as a babysitter for family friends. In high school, I took a job managing a local skatepark and giving skateboarding lessons. Once I moved to San Diego to attend SDSU, I took a side job as an activity leader for Harmonium, an after school program for elementary school students. During the summers, I also managed and taught skateboarding at the local YMCA Skateboarding Summer Camp.
Anyways, after I started to excel in my music career, friends and acquaintances started reaching out to me for advice and information. Ever since then I have been tutoring, mentoring, and helping my peers learn how to DJ, produce music, book shows, boost their marketing & much much more. I look forward to working with you and helping you to achieve your goals!

Modern technological tools are revolutionizing the possibilities for musical artists. By learning about music production, you can have the sounds of the orchestra, rock band, and beyond all at your finger tips. I offer instruction in Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and other related plug-ins software and hardware equipment.
Depending on your goals, music production lessons can include instruction on synthesis, realistic sounding manipulation of samplers, recording, mixing and mastering. If these terms sound like Greek to you, that's fine too! All that is required for music production lessons, is an interest in creating music with a computer and other pieces of music technology.
I also offer lessons in composition, music theory, arranging, and piano performance. These subjects may also be included, if applicable. On the first lesson with a new student, I'll always go over the options for potential areas of study and work with the student to develop an appropriate course of study ...
