Country music and its execution utilizes some specific techniques and methods of playing that brings the country style to life. Each lesson is tailored to fit each individual student, covering specifically the country music genre. I have a blast teaching and my students have fun learning!

I have taught guitar lessons to a variety of different students, young and old, experienced and beginner! I teach a multitude of different genres and styles including Jazz, Blues, Classical, and Rock! I can help with everything from technique to theory and teach you any song you would like to know how to play. I have toured and played many music festivals so if your goal is to learn how to play guitar in a band setting I can also help with that!

Now here is a little bit about me:

I first picked up the guitar when I was eight years old and immediately fell in love. I began to play in many local Blues bands and went to jam sessions all over the Atlanta area while I was 9-14 years old. In high school, I was classically trained and won multiple classical guitar competitions. I was director of the Advanced Guitar class at my high school and we won superior ratings every single year we participated in the Large Group Evaluation Performance. Having a variety of experiences professionally and academically, I am very well suited to cater to the interests of my students. I am currently getting my Master's degree in classical guitar performance, but I often include a variety of styles in order to motivate your practice times at home. Whether you want really nail the sound of a Black Sabbath riff, learn to solo over a blues progression, or even learn a piano piece on guitar. I can help give you the tools to form your own musical identity.

Hi! Country guitarists like Albert Lee and Don Rich have given me much of my style. I love playing both acoustic and electric. I play both in both country rock and folk country bands at the moment. I love to chicken-pick, but I also like straight fingerstyle and straight flatpicking.
