Hi there. I'm Andrew. I have been teaching for about 10 years now and it has become one of the things I truly love to do. When I am not writing, reading, gigging, touring, or recording, I love to teach people the things that have made my life so colorful.

Experienced guitarist/songwriter/producer of the Maryland rock band Master Sword offering lessons to beginner through intermediate players. Learn music theory (including chords and scales from basic to advanced), how to craft songs, ear training, and more. Focus is mainly on rock, pop, and metal guitar performance.

I offer a varied curriculum for all my students. Teaching students music they're interested allows me to make learning the guitar fun while stressing the importance of the fundamentals.

Each curriculum is specifically designed to meet the students goals and needs.

As a professional session guitar player for over ten years, I will use my expertise to integrate necessary information like technique and theory into each lesson, while also designing part of each lesson to the students specific goals, (Songwriting, Reading, College Prep, Specific styles, Shredding, etc.)

Before learning Classical and Jazz guitar in school, I was a full on Rocker!!! I played SRV/Hendrix style blues rock to what is now old school metal...Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, etc.
