Hello and welcome! I started teaching guitar lessons after school in 6th grade to fellow students and our teachers alike. From the very beginning, my ethos has been centered around striving to serve the individual and helping them to achieve their goals. I've only become more passionate about that over the course of almost 20 years of teaching and I look forward to working with you!

I have been a touring and studio musician as well as a musical director and record producer for over ten years on electric and acoustic guitar, pedal steel, bass guitar and singing. I'm passionate about teaching YOU, not just teaching notes or chords or licks. Everyone learns differently and I look forward to creating for you what all of my amazing teachers have created for me over 25 years of learning: a safe space to let your guard down, be who you are and work your hardest to be your best.

What makes my lessons unique is rather than follow a strict curriculum where I just teach the student a bunch of songs they don’t want to learn. I cater to the interests and needs of the student. So if you want to write songs we will practice creative exercises, if you want to learn covers to play in a band or solo act we will learn the songs you want to learn. I will teach at your skill level and go at whatever pace you feel comfortable with so that I can maximize your learning experience!

Elevate your playing to a new level! I'm a Royal Conservatory of Music National Gold Medalist, and have seven years of teaching experience. Guitar is my specialty, but I also teach piano, voice, percussion, ukulele, and more! Let's embark on this musical journey together!

I am passionate helping everyone meet their goals when it comes to playing guitar. You don’t need to know more than a few chords to play most hits, to have fun playing with others, or to write your own songs. I want my students to be able to learn what they care about learning.

I am a diverse musician of stringed instruments, specializing in electric and acoustic guitar, violin/fiddle, and mandolin. My genres range from Classic Rock, to Bluegrass, Country, and Blues. On the guitar, both rhythm & lead, I play and teach both flatpick, and fingerpicking styles, like those of Mississippi John Hurt, Patrick Sky, and Dave Von Ronk.
In Classic Rock, I teach such recording artists songs/styles as the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton (Cream), and Neil Young. On the Rolling Stones songs, I teach both standard tuning songs (Ruby Tuesday, Dead Flowers, etc), and open Tunings used by Keith Richards (Brown Sugar-G, Gimme Shelter-E)
